Verum Rex is a fictional video game in Kingdom Hearts III seen in Toy Box. It is published by Square Enix for the Play Plus system. A demo mini-game is playable in Toy Box called Verum Rex: Beat of Lead. The game contains mech suits called Gigas.
One of the major characters of the game is Yozora. In cut content, it is mentioned that Yozora's has two sidekicks, Magia and Aegis, who are presumably the red-haired man with a black hat as well as the man with glasses in the trailer.[1] In the trailer for the game, there is also a woman who seems to be a damsel in distress.

- The game seems to be a parody of Final Fantasy XV, particularly its original version Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Verum Rex is Latin for "true king", a possible reference to Noctis and the theme of kings in Final Fantasy XV.
