Kingdom Hearts III, much like with the previous release of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, contains downloadable content, often shortened to "DLC". DLC either adds additional game elements[1] or in the form of Keyblades. Some are only available as pre-order bonuses[2] or as free update for the game.
An internet connection is required to download patches to update the game.[3]
