The Moogle Shop (モーグリショップ, Mōguri Shoppu) is a recurring shop in the Kingdom Hearts series, run by Moogles. It serves as the location to purchase and synthesize items, weapons, armor, Cards, and Deck Commands. According to Jiminy, moogles usually operate their shops using holograms because they hate getting their pom-poms ruffled.

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and Kingdom Hearts III, the items available for sale depend on the Shop Level (ショップレベル, Shoppu Reberu), which increases by clearing Worlds.

Mechanics

Kingdom Hearts

Once Sora has learned Trinity Ladder, he can activate the green Trinity Mark in the Accessory Shop to gain access to the Item Workshop, run by three moogles. From that moment, the Item Workshop can also be entered through the door at the back of the Accessory Shop building. At the Item Workshop, Sora can synthesize various items.

Items available for synthesis are released in sets, with each new set becoming available after a certain amount of items have been synthesized. Items that have been synthesized once get a green MIX mark next to their name. In Kingdom Hearts, 25 items can be synthesized, divided over 5 sets, while in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, 33 items can be synthesized, divided over 6 sets. Each new set unlocks when only 3 items remain that have yet to be synthesized, except for the final set, which unlocks after synthesizing all previous items.

In Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, the Moogles award Sora with the Encounter Plus ability after synthesizing 15 items.
