The Titan Cup is a competition staged in the Olympus Coliseum's Underworld in Kingdom Hearts II. This is another solo tournament with Sora, and introduces a damage gauge and has a maximum of 500 "key points", which are basically the player's life points. It can be entered once the player has fulfilled all of the story requirements and beaten the Cerberus Cup.
Rules of the Titan Cup
- Level 41.
- Allies are disabled.
- Drives are disabled.
- Limits are enabled, can only use Trinity Limit and Summon Limits.
- Summons are available.
Strategy
During the entire cup, Sora must survive on 500 Key Points. He must avoid being hit as much as possible in order to survive to the final match. To increase the added difficulty of the Key Point system, the enemies in the Cup primarily deal heavy damage. During rounds 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, large rocks fall from the ceiling and can take away as much as 12 Key Points per hit. In the final round, the player must battle Hercules. If Hercules is seen to pull his arm back, as if winding up for a punch, or if he begins to glow in a golden color, he will soon unleash an extemely damaging attack. The player is advised to repeatedly hit Hercules until one of the former actions in done, in which case the player should begin to use a series of jumps and dodges to avoid the attack.
In order to meet the Jiminy Objective, you need to get 5,000 points. This is easy to achieve with the help of the Stitch summon. Use the Ohana! limit and then Ukulele as many times as possible. This will make the enemies drop a lot of points without damaging the enemies, so it can be done all over again. Another way of getting many points is using the Peter Pan summon. Using Genie's Final Form will also help.
