The End, also known as the Battle Report in later games, is a phrase used to refer to the ending of a work of fiction. It is included in almost every Kingdom Hearts game to date. Dearly Beloved is often the theme that plays during the ending frame of the game. When a "The End" screen appears, there is usually no need for user input, however, there is user input in later games such as Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, due to the fact that these savings may have later use.
The End screen in Kingdom Hearts is simply the cover artwork of the North American version, with "The End" written in a white font at the bottom left. The End screen in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix is the cover artwork but set to night, with "Fin" and various statistics shown on the left side.
