Points are scored by performing ''combos'', via the three tricks tied into the controller buttons.  Stringing these tricks into combos can be done as long as a character is airborne or grinding on an edge; hitting the ground or running into a wall ends the combo and the attempt. Jumping into the air without performing a combo also counts as an attempt. It should also be noted that skateboards can damage enemies, though it deals minimal damage.

Skateboarding is a mini-game and form of transportation found in Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+. While they can be used to traverse the zones within Worlds more quickly, some are also part of a mini-game within a particular World. Meeting the minimum scores on these games is a requirement for filling in Jiminy's Journal; therefore, completing skateboarding is a requirement to unlock the final movie in Kingdom Hearts II standard mode.

Points are scored by performing combos, via the three tricks tied into the controller buttons.

Although skateboards can be found in several Worlds, only five have mini games tied into them: Twilight Town, Hollow Bastion, Port Royal, Agrabah, and Halloween Town.

See the list of commands for the Skateboard.
