The Kingdom Hearts series uses an extensive array of recurring fonts in its logos and interfaces. Though some of these fonts are original and have no official source, others are based on existing fonts that are publicly available. This page compiles these fonts and details their use throughout the series.

Ballantines Script EF[edit]
Ballantines Script EF is a script font designed by Brendel Type Studio and published by Elsner+Flake. It appears in the logo for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

Cinema Calligraphy[edit]
Cinema Calligraphy is the subtitle font for Kingdom Hearts Union χ and Kingdom Hearts Dark Road.
Garamond[edit]
Garamond appears in the copyright notice screens for many different Kingdom Hearts games.
DFPSoGei[edit]
DFPSoGei is a DynaComware font that appears in the menus of many different Kingdom Hearts games. Though it was used extensively from Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX onwards, it can be found in many games released prior.
DFSouGei-W5G[edit]
DFSouGei-W5G is the interface font for Kingdom Hearts II.
PRGothIWA-Dm[edit]
PRGothIWA-Dm is the English-language interface font for Kingdom Hearts Union χ.
RodinNTLG[edit]
RodinNTLG is a Fontworks font that appears in the user interface of Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory.

Ad Lib[edit]
Ad Lib is a font designed by Freeman Craw for American Type Founders. It appears in the Command Gauge for Experiment 626's D-Link in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.
Comic Sans MS[edit]
Comic Sans MS is a sans-serif typeface designed by Vincent Connare and released by Microsoft Corporation. In Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Jiminy Cricket's messages regarding Naminé are written in Comic Sans MS.
Copperplate Gothic[edit]
Copperplate Gothic appears in the Command Menu graphic for the Frying Pan Formchange.
Eagle[edit]
Eagle is a sans-serif typeface designed by Morris Fuller Benton. A heavily modified version of Eagle appears in the logo for Toy Box.
Floridian Script[edit]
On-screen text is displayed in Floridian Script during the following cutscenes:
- Kingdom Hearts II main menu cinematic (Kairi's Letter)
- Blank Points
- A Fragmentary Passage
- Another Guardian of Light
Futura[edit]
Futura is a sans-serif typeface designed by Paul Renner. It appears in the logo and Command Menu for Monstropolis. It also appears in the Command Menu graphics for the Happy Gear's Formchanges.

ITC Benguiat[edit]
ITC Benguiat is a serif typeface designed by Ed Benguiat. It appears in many Command Gauges for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

Revue is a font designed by Colin Brignall. It appears in the Command Gauge for Sky Climber in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.
Original fonts[edit]
Kingdom Hearts font[edit]
This font first appeared in the logo for Kingdom Hearts, and has appeared in the logo for nearly every game in the Kingdom Hearts series.
In Kingdom Hearts II, the location cards for The World That Never Was feature a fully-fleshed version of this font. It also appears in several of the game's themed Command Menus. In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, it appears in the Command Gauge for Vanitas' D-Link, and in Kingdom Hearts III, it appears in the Command Menu for the Keyblade Graveyard.

This font, internally referred to as "KH2 ALL MENU Italic", has appeared in the interface for nearly every Kingdom Hearts game. When exported to a font-editing application, the following information is displayed:

Subtitle font[edit]
This font was first used in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. It has since appeared in subtitles, speech bubbles in unvoiced cutscenes, and the various entries in Jiminy's Journal.
