Kingdom Hearts (working title),[1] also referred to as Kingdom Hearts The Series, is an upcoming anime television series based on the Kingdom Hearts series. It will be an original story based on the universe of the games.[1]
The show will be released on Disney Channel and Disney+.
Development[edit]
The Series was announced on August 14th, 2026 at the 2026 D23 event, a yearly press event where Disney announced new projects. A promotional image was later released depicting Helgi holding the Keyblade.[2]
