Deck Command (KHBBS)

Deck Commands appear on the Command Menu in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.

Deck Commands (デッキコマンド, Dekki Komando) are equippable skills that can be used in the field in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. The two main types are Battle Commands (バトルコマンド, Batoru Komando), which appear in and can be used from the Command Menu, and Action Commands (アクションコマンド, Akushon Komando).

Deck Commands can be equipped from the main menu, under "Deck Commands". Shotlocks can also be set in this menu. Deck Commands gain experience in the form of Command Points, or CP, and will level up, becoming more powerful or effective. CP may be gained in battle by defeating enemies, at the same rate as regular experience, or on the Command Board by using commands to purchase spaces.

Finish commands can also be set from the Deck Command menu, as well as from the Status menu.

Battle Commands

Battle commands, which consist of Attack, Magic, Item and Friendship commands, can be used during battle to cause damage to enemies, heal damage, or otherwise affect the tide of battle. Battle commands undergo a period of cooldown after use, which is longer for more powerful commands, with the exception of item commands, which may be used repeatedly but have a limited number of uses.
