Magic Hour

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Magic Hour allows the user to teleport around the battlefield generating pillars of light.

Magic Hour (マジックアワー Majikku Awā?) is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. It allows the user to generate giant pillars of light that damage the opponent.

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, the user hovers in place and summons a rain of light with the Keyblade.

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Magic Hour is Dual-wielding Roxas's Limit Break. It consists of him jumping a few feet off the ground, then summoning the pillars of light to rain down randomly around him. The Final Limit increases the size, speed, and strength of the pillars, and also shields Roxas in a cloak of light. During both phases, Roxas can stall the attack with B, forcing him to drop down, allowing him to move elsewhere and resume the attack with A.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Magic Hour is an Ultimate attack command exclusive to Aqua that takes up two slots in the Command Deck, has a maximum level of 5, has a normal reload time of 25 seconds, and refills the Command Gauge by 10%. It also has a Command Shop value of 2500. Magic Hour causes the user to teleport to the air above an enemy, and dive down to generate a single pillar of light. The player is required to press Triangle when signaled to continue generating the pillars.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix[edit]

The inspiration for this move first appeared during Roxas' boss battle in The World That Never Was. Roxas floats several feet in the air in the center of the arena with a cage of vertical lasers encircling him, during which he is completely invincible to attack, while firing down a succession of 14 homing light orbs on Sora.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days[edit]

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Xion uses a variation of Roxas's Magic Hour during the final form of her boss battle.

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded[edit]

During his boss battle in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Data-Roxas uses the same version of Magic Hour that Roxas uses in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind[edit]

During the Replica Xehanort boss battle, Roxas can use a variant of Magic Hour called Miracle Hour as a special command during his team attack with Ventus and Xion.
