Striped Aria

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
These small flying Heartless boast high defense and are resistant to physical attacks. Take them down with magic.

TIP: Time-based attacks like their time missiles can rewind your defense to LV1, which causes you to take more damage than normal.

The Striped Aria is an Emblem Heartless that is found in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

Design[edit]

A Striped Aria has a smooth, conical body that is covered in vertical stripes that alternate from pink to off-white and has a Heartless emblem emblazoned on its chest. The top of its body flares outward and forms a jagged "collar" below the Heartless's spherical, pitch black head. It also wears a conical, pink hat that has a jagged brim and a thin, black, curled tip. Like many Heartless, the Striped Aria has glowing yellow eyes. Its seemingly useless feet sport three small, thin toes.

The Striped Aria's name does not follow the usual pattern of other Heartless in its family. While it includes a musical term, "aria", a solo vocal piece with instrumental accompaniment, like an opera. It does not include a color, instead, it refers to the stripes on the Heartless's body.

Strategy[edit]

Striped Arias possess a large amount of HP, but they can be defeated rather quickly through the use of aerial combos and magic. One must take extreme caution, however, as the balls of time energy they launch have a chance of dealing the Rewound Defense status effect. As with the projectile attacks of their brethren, these energy balls can easily be avoided by the use of Dodge Roll.
