Journal Entries

Kingdom Hearts

Big round Heartless. They seem tame and laid-back, but go berserk when they are angered. With their brute strength, they can inflict great damage, so be on your guard.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

A rotund Heartless.
The Large Body repels frontal attacks with its jiggly belly.
Sometimes it throws its weight around and shakes the ground, so jumping is key.

Kingdom Hearts II

It will block attacks dealt from the front, so a good option is to perform a series of combos from behind, finishing with Full Swing.
When enraged it will repeatedly tackle it's target. That's the time to use reaction commands. Use Kickback to finish the battle!

  • Mow-Down Attack: Two wide arm-swings
  • Charge: Rush forward stomach-first
  • Jumping Shockwave: Create shockwave from jump
  • Body Attack: Slide around once HP hits 40%. Take no weapon damage during slide

Strategy

Kingdom Hearts

It's a very fat bellied like heartless and it can block attacks from the front with its belly.

They can even uses its weight to make a jumping shockwave to hit Sora.

The belly can be also a attacker too on Sora. It'll appear in Kingdom Hearts 1, 2, CoM, Re:CoM, coded, and Birth by Sleep.

When it's berserk, it will use it's belly as a full attacker. And at Kingdom Hearts 2, it can slide its belly to attack Sora 4 times.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

Since Large Bodies deflect attacks to their front, it's hard to land a hit. The player should use magic attacks to deal HP damage or attack the Large Body from the back. When a Large Body lands on the ground after jumping, it will shake the whole screen, dealing damage to Sora or Riku if they're on the ground.

Kingdom Hearts II

When you enter the battle, quickly run to its back (as the Large Body is immune to frontal attacks). After 5 swipes of your Keyblade, get ready to run away! It will go into Berserk mode and try to badly hurt you. Use Guard, then it will be knocked away. It will then come back and slide across the floor. Use Kickback, followed by Full Swing - and it will be defeated.
