Powered Armor is an Heartless from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. A relative of the Guard Armor, it is blue in coloration. Fought in the Sandlot in Twilight Town, it was a challenge for Roxas to defeat as an optional boss on Day 353.

Strategy

The Powered Armor is, true to its name, a tough boss to bring down. At the start of the Boss Fight, Lock-On and attack. Use caution, as the Heartlesss swipes at Roxas with its claws if he gets too close. While it mostly remains stationary, the Powered Armor's mighty footsteps cause shockwaves to erupt, another thing to be careful of when at close range.

When the Powered Armor's head falls off, attack repeatedly as the boss feels around blindly. It will not move at this time, so utilize attacks and magic to the maximum. Once it finds its head, the Heartless spins its arms around it, dealing large amounts of damage. Its limbs and body now begin to separate, attacking with a mind of their own. When only the beast's torso is left, it begins to spin around in a desperation attack. You must deplete the HP Bars of each of these limbs including the head and torso, each with 1-3 HP Bars. Do not be afraid to use your Limit Break, and heal periodically. Do this, and the Powered Armor should fall.

Trivia

The battle theme during the Powered Armor battle is "Tension Rising."
