Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Large and deadly, these flying Heartless pack extreme power and high HP levels.
Their arsenal includes Meteor breath and an invincible charge, and all of their attacks can inflict negative status effects on contact.
This specimen is easily in the strongest class of Heartless. Prepare accordingly.

Strategy

At the start of the battle, Lock-On to this winged opponent and begin your attack. Ignore any that may have entered the battle, as their is no real gain for defeating them. This will be a mostly aerial battle. Make sure you are not on the ground, as the Dustflier will create large shockwaves that cause a random status effect whenever it lands. This shockwave has a long range, so use Glide to make a quick escape. This attack is used for a majority of the battle. When the Heartless Boss is not attacking, hammer it with the Keyblade.

It uses two attacks that the other Tailbunker-like Heartless use on occasions. It often shoots forward after creating the shockwave, causing Air-toss status if it hits. It will also perform a midair flip that deals decent damage. Another attack in the Dustflier's arsenal involves it landing on the ground, shooting homing fireballs that inflict the Ignite status if hit. Glide can be used to escape this attack, as well. The Boss uses these three attacks in no particular order, though the attack does vary depending on your distance from the Dustflier after it lands. As long as players attack with a powerful weapon during openings, as well as use the Glide Ability to dodge the shockwave attack, this monstrous foe should fall in a matter of minutes. It is also recommended that you bring a Fire Charm into this match, as this will slightly lessen damage sustained from the Dustflier's meteor breath attack. If you can, bring a Tears Of Flame instead of a Fire Charm into the match, it gives fire resistance 100% which will be very useful in this battle.
