Chapter 38: Bring Back the Happy Faces! is the thirty-eighth chapter in the Kingdom Hearts II manga.

Story[edit]
Kairi and Pluto are taken to The World That Never Was by Saïx, and placed in a cell. In Twilight Town, Hayner, Pence, and Olette worry about Kairi.
In the Gummi Ship, worrying about Kairi has emptied the ship's "happy faces" fuel. Trying to cheer themselves up, Sora, Donald, and Goofy think back about how they met, the worlds they visited, and the friends they made along the way. They get a message from Cid informing them that they found Ansem's computer, and asks them to come to Hollow Bastion.
