Chapter 30: Door...to Days Gone By is the thirtieth chapter in the Kingdom Hearts II manga.
The front page shows Sora, Donald, and Goofy sailing the steamboat, with Mickey hanging from a hook.
Story[edit]
As Pete gloats about his idea to steal the Cornerstone of Light, Sora, Donald, and Goofy discover it is missing. Pete plans to throw the Cornerstone of Light into the river, but gets interrupted by Captain Pete and Mickey. Captain Pete tries to confront Pete about stealing his steamboat, but Pete knocks him away. Angered, Captain Pete sends Mickey to hold onto Pete, as he prepares to punch him. At the last moment, Pete turns around, causing Mickey to kick Captain Pete in his face. Sora, Donald, and Goofy arrive at the steamboat, and Pete summons Heartless to slow them down. Captain Pete still tries to fight Pete, who tells him the Cornerstone of Light is cursed, and he manages to dump it in the river. Captain Pete punches Pete and dives after the Cornerstone of Light, not wanting it in the river. Having defeated the Heartless, Sora, Donald, and Goofy confront Pete, who flees through his door. Sora locks the door, preventing Pete from using it anymore. Maleficent asks Pete if he completed his task, and Pete lies that he did.
After having recovered from his fight, Captain Pete offers Sora, Donald, and Goofy a job on his steamboat, but they reject. He then gives them the Cornerstone of Light, and they return it to its place. Donald dreams about becoming rich and famous by carving his name on the Cornerstone of Light, but Sora and Goofy drag him along through the door.
In Disney Castle Minnie, Daisy, and Merlin watch the thorns disappear, as Sora, Donald, and Goofy return. Daisy is relieved to see Donald again, and angrily crushes the thorn seeds he brought back with him, while Minnie is glad the castle has been saved. King Mickey watches from afar, and thanks them for their help. Meanwhile, Maleficent discovers Pete has failed and lied to her, and zaps him.
