Chapter 29: Regain the Glory! is the twenty-ninth chapter in the Kingdom Hearts II manga.
The front page shows Pete and Captain Pete glaring at each other, with a shocked Donald and Goofy watching, the steamboat in the background, and a confused Sora with a ribbon that reads "Timeless River".
Story[edit]
Sora, Donald, and Goofy confront Pete on the stolen steamboat, but he kicks them off. Captain Pete catches up to them, when someone he calls "Mickey" dashes past them. Thinking they found King Mickey, Sora, Donald, and Goofy chase him.
Meanwhile, in Disney Castle, Merlin explains that the door he summoned leads to the past.
In their pursuit of Mickey, Sora, Donald, and Goofy come across a floating window. When Goofy opens the curtain, they can see a vision of Maleficent and Pete. Pete asks Maleficent to leave the world alone, but she tasks him with planting seeds around the Cornerstone of Light as a way to redeem himself. Sora, Donald, and Goofy realize they traveled to the past. At that point, Captain Pete once again catches up to them, and they flee, coming across another window.
Pete, unsure of what to do about Sora, tries to ask Maleficent for help. However, she reveals she left some traps for them already.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy get sucked into the window, and end up in a house where a black hole sucks up everything in it. Mickey tries to save his laundry from being sucked up, when all the furniture gets sucked in and plugs up the hole. Mickey happily high-fives Sora. Suddenly, they see a burning building, and a bunch of firefighters who unsuccessfully try to put out the fire. A cannonball then crashes through the building, destroying it entirely. However, the firefighters cheer as the fire has gone out. Back outside the window, Sora confirms Mickey is not the King, and they leave him. In the meantime, Pete has stolen the Cornerstone of Light, and is towing it behind the steamboat.
