Synopsis[edit]

Maleficent accepts Yuna, Rikku, and Paine offer to work for her. Elsewhere arriving to Hollow Bastion Sora, Donald, and Goofy get attacked by Heartless which leads to the trio meeting Scrooge McDuck trying to protect his ice cream from the heartless. Donald then casts Fire which causes the ice cream to explode. Donald apologizes but Scrooge is still angry and tells Jiminy Cricket that he was supposed to keep Donald in line. Sora and Goofy watch on laughing comparing them. Donald asks what brought Scrooge to Hollow Bastion and he says that he wanted to open an ice cream parlor but says because of the explosion those plans will have to start over. Jiminy then explains to Sora that before the Heartless showed up Scrooge and Mickey Mouse travelled worlds together on a Gummi Ship. Scrooge then says that he just saw him.

Donald bursts into the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee's headquarters asking where the king is. Cid greets them and Yuffie remarks the news travels fast and that the king is with Squall Leonhart in Ansem the Wise's computer room. Goofy and Donald celebrate and Sora asks if Riku is with him, Yuffie replies that he isn't. The trio then ask if Cid found anything on Ansem's computer to which he says that they have found a comupter but it keeps releasing Heartless and Yuffie says they are busy dealing with that. Sora, Donald, and Goofy then hurry to follow where the heartless are coming from and run into Yuna, Rikku, and Paine. They ask if They know what Leon and the others are up to to which prompts Sora, Donald, and Goofy to tell them the info they have learned which Yuna marks down, they then leave to report to Maleficent but almost reveal that they are working for her and poof away.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy progressing run into Aerith and she shows them the rest of the way. They see a portrait of Terra-Xehanort and Sora thinks back to Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and says looking at the study he seemed human. Squall appears and replies that Sora is wasting his time thinking about it, he then shows them the rest of the way to the computer where Sora starts hitting the keyboard randomly to try to deactivate it which makes Master Control Program reveal itself.
