Chapter 32: Find the Genie! is the thirty-second chapter in the Kingdom Hearts II manga.
Story[edit]
While walking through the marketplace, Sora spots Iago falling from the sky. Iago explains he escaped from the lamp that held him and Jafar, and wants to apologize to Aladdin and Jasmine. Sora, Donald, and Goofy don't believe him and leave, when Abu runs past holding a lamp, followed by an angry Peddler. Abu gives the lamp to Aladdin, who rubs it before giving it back to the Peddler, accusing him of misleading his customers by claiming the lamp holds a genie. Sora, Donald, and Goofy try to calm them down, and the Peddler leaves. Aladdin explains he is working undercover in order to find a lamp that is said to hold a genie, thinking it might be Jafar's lamp, although he hasn't told Jasmine about it. Sora, Donald, and Goofy offer to help, and Donald suggests asking Genie for help, but Aladdin explains he wants to let Genie enjoy his new-found freedom. When Aladdin spots Iago, he gets angry, but Iago tells him he knows where Jafar's lamp is, and offers to lead them to it.
Pete returns to the Peddler, angry at buying a fake lamp. He dreams of turning Jafar into a Heartless, and ruling the world without Maleficent. Wondering where the real lamp is, he sees Sora and the others heading into the desert, and decides to follow them.
In Twilight Town, Kairi tells Hayner, Pence, and Olette about Sora and Riku, and that she is looking for them. Suddenly, Hayner remembers that they met Sora recently, and Olette offers for Kairi to stay at her house while she waits for Sora to return. From the shadows, they are watched by Vex Replica No. 44, who notices Kairi is a Princess of Heart.
