The damage done to the Raid Boss is dependent on how many BP were spent, how many of your team mates already attacked since this number increases the {{nihongo|'''Chain Bonus'''|チェインボーナス|Chein bōnasu}} and which [[Keyblade]] is used. Every Raid Boss has a weakness to a certain Keyblade and if this one is used during the attack the {{nihongo|'''Keyblade Bonus'''|キーブレードボーナス|Kīburēdo bōnasu}} is added to the damage value, if the {{nihongo|'''EX Card Bonus'''|EXカードボーナス|EX kādo bōnasu}} is triggered it is multiplied by 10.
Each Raid Boss is accompanied by a rarer variant that drops more valuable rewards, usually named {{nihongo|'''Subspecies'''|亜種|Ashu}}, which has a chance to appear when the initial Raid Boss is defeated quickly enough.

Every time a Raid Boss (レイドボス出現, Reido bosu?) appears this image appears in a splash screen and much smaller version in the HUD.

Gameplay

The Raid Boss changes every two or three weeks. They are the main source of Lux, making them an essential target for winning the daily Team Battle (チームバトル Chīmu Batoru?) and weekly Union Ranking (ユニオンランキング Yunion Rankingu?).

The first attack on a Raid Boss is free, but further attacks require the Player to spend Battle Points (BP). The damage dealt to the Raid Boss is dependent on the DP spent, the Chain Bonus (チェインボーナス Chein Bōnasu?) awarded based on how many allied players have already attacked the boss, and the Keyblade Bonus (キーブレードボーナス Kīburēdo Bōnasu?) awarded based on using the Keyblade that the Raid Boss is weak to. The damage dealt can be multiplied by 10 by triggering the EX Card Bonus (EXカードボーナス EX Kādo Bōnasu?). Template:Section-stub

Each Raid Boss is accompanied by a rarer variant that drops more valuable rewards, usually named Subspecies (亜種 Ashu?), which has a chance to appear when the initial Raid Boss is defeated quickly enough.
