Strelitzia is a Keyblade wielder and the younger sister of Lauriam who appears in Kingdom Hearts Union χ. She is one of the Keyblade wielders from Daybreak Town who was asked by Master Ava to join the Dandelions, and was then chosen by the Master of Masters to lead a Union after the Keyblade War. Like the other new Union leaders, she was given a rulebook set by Master Ava. She was also intended by the Master of Masters to receive her own copy of the Book of Prophecies unbeknownst to the other Union leaders; however, Strelitzia was struck down by Darkness who used a possessed Ventus who stole her rulebook.

Story

Before Kingdom Hearts Union χ [Cross]

Like her brother, she awakes as a Keyblade wielder in Daybreak Town, where she joins one of the Unions under the foretellers. For the past two years, Strelitzia had been fighting a long time and seen party members come and go. Over time, Strelitzia took notice of another wielder in her Union, Player.

One day, Strelitzia saw Player as they sat and waited for Ephemer, holding their Chirithy and crying when Ephemer did not show. Strelitzia saw Player from time to time after that during missions, and though she could never muster the courage to speak with Player, Strelitzia could sense that there was something special about Player, as they saw things differently than everyone else. Although Player did not know her, Strelitzia came to see them as a friend and looked forward to the day the two of them could talk to one another.

Later, Strelitzia was inducted into the Dandelions and was trained by Ava to prepare for the world outside. Then Strelitzia met with her brother Lauriam in his favorite spot a flower field where they talked about their duties as keyblade wielders. Talking about their strong points as she was far superior in magic compared to him, wanting to be close to him, she suggested they team up but he thought it wouldn't work out too well but playfully said until she got strong enough to protect him Lauriam would think about it. Being aware of the Dandelions leaving Strelitzia hadn't decided what to do but voiced distress about missing her friends especially Player. When Lauriam believed that she had feelings for Player, Strelitzia told her brother just really wanted to meet them and was encouraged by him to met Player as well as admitting that he took pleasure in his sister's smile knowing that she knew how to make people feel better seeing it as her strength. Then, made her a promise if she got into trouble then he'd come running. But was surprised that she turned down his offer saying he gave her a challenge to see through and they laugh it off watching dandelions blow in the wind.

One day, after witnessing Player stand up to Aced, Strelitzia was approached by Ava, who revealed to her the world's imminent end. Asking that Strelitzia become one of five Dandelions to succeed the foretellers as Union leaders following the events of the Keyblade War, Ava provides her with a rulebook by which the Union leaders would be required to follow. Strelitzia began to have doubts about becoming a Union leader because she felt uneasy about leaving those who were not Dandelions to take part in the Keyblade War. Afterwards realizing that Player is not one of the Dandelions, Strelitzia resolves that she has to tell them the truth about the fate of the world. Quest 726: Daybreak Town Heartless Hunt Pt. 1 The next day, she and her Chirithy learn that Player was last seen entering an abandoned house and go to investigate, though Player is nowhere to be found. Suddenly, she sees Ventus unknowingly possessed, but the Darkness entity comes out from the shadows and attacks both Strelitzia and her Chirithy, while the possessed wielder stole her rulebook taking her place as a Union leader seeing them leave she called to Lauriam for help. In her last moments, Strelitzia laments how she did not have the courage to speak with Player, carrying her Chirithy in her arms as she fades away and her heart is released. Kingdom Hearts Union χ [Cross]

Strelitzia's absence was noticed by Lauriam who was looking for her but with no success even through the datascape, he consulted her sister's party member Elrena. From her Chirithy, was told that his sister was looking for someone to induct them into the Dandelions, as well as noticed her last whereabouts were the same location Skuld was at he left to talk with her. But it leads to another dead end as she didn't know anything about her, at first Lauriam accepted that his sister chased her "friend" into the war and perished trying to get them to join the Dandelions. Through Brain's deductive reasoning, Ephemer and Lauriam they discover that Strelitzia was trying to save the Player and left to talk with them however they reach another dead end as the Player didn't know her either.

Soon a Noise of Strelitzia's final moments was seen by Elrena who informed Lauriam and Elrena's Chirithy who confirmed that his sister's actions were true, then returns to the Clock Tower to confront Brain. Just after the fight with Maleficent, she appears in her brother's memory of them in his favorite spot a flower field and talked about what they said before, however it ends with her disappearing and reappearing in a white coat and flew up into the sky. He comes to seeing that Maleficent was gone and slowly limps out of the room thinking of his sister.

Then, she appears once more in Ventus' dream as he remembered what happened and yet, woke up crying feeling guilty that he didn't or couldn't do anything to save her. Meanwhile, Brain and the others confirmed what they already knew Strelitzia was killed by the Darkness entity as it manipulated Ventus into taking her place but they could not figure out what the Darkness was trying to gain by destroying her. Soon the group's conversation was interrupted as well as overheard and misheard by a furious and injured Lauriam who demanded answers but afterwards, he tearfully starts to accept that his sister was gone.

But he turned his anger on Ventus, when he tearfully admitted that he killed her despite the others' protest but shortly afterwards due to the strain put on Ven, he collapsed on the ground as the true culprit emerged from him.

Personality

Strelitzia is a quiet and shy girl but is also considerate and caring for others when she realizes that those who are not Dandelions will perish in the war. When chosen to be a Union leader, Strelitzia expresses doubts that she is qualified for the role, showing lack of confidence in herself. She also has a tendency to panic and rush off on occasion making her a bit impatient.

She seems to have a high opinion of Player, regarding them as a friend in spite of never formally introducing herself to them. Due to the kinship she feels for Player, she worked up the courage to try and save them from the Keyblade War, but harbors regret that she was unable to meet Player in person before she faded away.

Design

Strelitzia has long red hair that frames her face, with her bangs falling over her forehead down past her eyebrows while the rest of her hair is tied back in two long pigtails that reach past her waist on either side of her head. Additionally, Strelitzia has matching sleeves on both of her arms, and wears thigh-high white boots.
