"March-A-Long" is a musical theme composed by Yoko Shimomura that appears in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

Appearances

In Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories "March-A-Long" is used as the theme for the mini-games during Sora's visit to the 100 Acre Wood. In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep it plays during the Command Board mini-game, on the Honey Pot Board.

Composition

"March-A-Long" is approximately two minutes and twenty-eight seconds long and plays at a tempo of 98 beats per minute. The piece remains in 4/4 time. "March-A-Long" has a very short introduction and then leads into the repeating melodic section, followed by a variation of the introduction's initial phrase, and then repeats back to the melodic section, allowing for smooth transitions between loops. The instrumentation consists of piano, strings using pizzicato, sleigh bells, clarinet, bassoon, timpani, brass, flute, and marimba.
