Template:Enemy Luxu is a Keyblade Master who appears in Kingdom Hearts χ. He is an apprentice of the Master of Masters.

Story

Before Kingdom Hearts Back Cover

Luxu is given a Keyblade forged from his own heart by the Master of Masters, who takes Luxu alongside Aced, Ava, Gula, Invi and Ira, as his apprentices. After Luxu passes the Mark of Mastery exam, he achieves the rank of Keyblade Master alongside each of his fellow apprentices.

Meeting with Luxu alone in the Foreteller's Chamber, the Master of Masters informs Luxu that he is the "indisposable number seven" before summoning No Name and passing it down to Luxu. Luxu addresses the Keyblade by the "Gazing Eye", which is encased within it, though the Master of Masters corrects him about its name, instead addressing it as "No Name". The Master of Masters explains that the Gazing Eye within the Keyblade actually belongs to him - which grosses Luxu out temporarily - and that Luxu's role is to pass down No Name to his apprentice, and him to his, so that the Gazing Eye can see the future. This makes Luxu realize that the Book of Prophecies is the result of him successfully completing his role.

Sending Luxu on his way, the Master of Masters informs Luxu that he will not be receiving a copy of the Book of Prophecies like his fellow apprentices, as the Master of Masters does not want to risk creating any temporal paradoxes. Luxu voices his worry over having to go about fulfilling his role alone, questioning what will happen to the other apprentices. The Master of Masters assures him that they're merely minor details and encourages Luxu not to worry about it, as it is important that Luxu, the No Name Keyblade, and the Black Box stay out of sight. The Master of Masters then pulls out the Black Box for Luxu to take with him, with Luxu questioning what's inside. The Master of Masters explains that it's a secret, as well as the fact that Luxu is never allowed to open it. With Luxu's brimming curiosity, the Master of Masters reveals to him what's inside, which shocks Luxu and makes him question the Master of Master's reasoning for placing what he had inside the Black Box. The Master of Masters merely teases that Luxu will have to wait and see. Luxu then sets out to fulfill his role, disappearing as he makes for the Keyblade Graveyard with the Black Box and No Name in hand.

Kingdom Hearts χ

With the Keyblade War approaching fast, Ava sees no other way to avert the cataclysmic event without the Master of Masters'. Knowing well that no one has been able to find the Master of Masters since his disappearance, Ava instead seeks out Luxu, aware that if anyone were to know where the Master of Masters is, it would be him. Eventually, Ava manages to find Luxu on the outskirts of Daybreak Town and asks him what he's been doing all this time. Luxu simply claims to that it is role to watch, which confuses Ava. When Ava asks for clarification, Luxu reveals that, unlike the Foretellers, he is meant to continue on into the future written in the Book of Prophecies, seeing through the end of the world. Luxu surmises that Ava wants to avoid the Keyblade War and that she'd sought him out in order to ask about the Master of Masters, but Luxu calls this useless, as the world is beginning to end. Ava questions what Luxu knows, prompting Luxu to address the mystery that is the Lost Page, which he tells Ava is a prophecy that the Foretellers don't know, the Master of Master's role. This makes Ava wonder if everything that has transpired has been of the will of the Master of Masters. Luxu describes his mission as inheriting said secrets, which is why he must pass on through the world just as the Lost Page dictates, as the Master of Master's role to not be to act for the world's fate, but to act and watch Luxu carry out his role.

Bewildered, Ava frantically questions what is written on the Lost Page, and if Luxu is behind all of this or if he is the traitor. Luxu summons his Keyblade and proceeds to tell her the truth about the traitor. Ava stands in disbelief, absorbing what she's just heard, with Luxu asking if she believes that she can stop this reality. Ava states that she cannot blieve that this is the reality, to which Luxu replies saying that it is for this reason that the battle is unavoidable. Ultimately, Luxu mentions that even if there was another answer, that would still be the result of the battle and questions if the Master of Masters would rather know how he will be guided by the key than the future of the world. Ava refuses to believe that the Master of Masters would choose them over the world, believing Luxu to be taking his advantage of the Master of Master's will. Drawing her Keyblade, Ava attacks Luxu, and the clashing of their Keyblades sends a ripple effect throughout Daybreak Town, which tolls the bell that signifies the beginning of the end.

Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-

With the No Name in-hand, Luxu silently observes the conclusion of the Keyblade War. This grants the Master of Masters knowledge of the event.

Appearance

Like the Master of Masters, Luxu wears a black coat.

Etymology

Luxu's name is derived from the word luxuria, which means "lust" in Latin.
