Roxas suggests she uses his Keyblade for the mission to jog her memory, while he uses a Wooden Stick for the remainder of the mission. On Day 118, he visits Twilight Town during his permitted vacation. While visiting, he runs across Hayner, Pence, and Olette, who want him to practice hitting the ball up into the air with a Struggle Sword.

During his time in The Other Twilight Town, Roxas can choose one of three styles of Struggle Bat, though he will always wield a Struggle Sword during the Struggle tournament regardless.

Like other children on the Destiny Islands, Riku wields a wooden play sword. After being taken in by Maleficent, he acquires a sword known as the Soul Eater, which eventually develops into his Keyblade, Way to the Dawn.
