Boss listEdit

Days really stretches the definition of bosses, as most of these reappear as normal enemies later on. I propose that we only consider bosses the ones that 1) have an event battle and 2) either appear in only one mission, or are in the boss section of the journal. Then again, missions that specifically ask you to assassinate a certain Heartless could imply bossitude, though the guide misses some obvious ones, like the Unknowns and the Tentaclaw (which is also officially called ???). We need to discuss this.

Also, there does not appear to be an Anti-Xigbar listed, though there is Anti-Riku and Anti-Saix. HOWEVER, I can only find those listed in a compendium of which enemies drop which treasures and points, and Xigbar is not listed at all, so it might still be its name.Glorious CHAOS! 02:28, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

WeaponsEdit

(!) means keep our translation, (?) means get rid of our translation Remember for these, we need to change the character page, character weapon templates, and gear templates.

i.e.: Any links with a ! after them should be blue, any links with a ? should be red.

Remember to correct the member's page for their signature weapon, and the gear templates!

DO NOT REMOVE THE ETYMOLOGY EXPLANATIONS FOR THE JAPANESE NAMES! Just because it's been dubbed doesn't mean there isn't meaning behind its original name.

This is why I wanted to work on this on my own (see Two became One, for an example of parsing error), but this is a good solution I can think of. What we need to do is compile the dubs for each name here, determine which ones are actually different from the Japanese name, and which ones are just parsed or translated slightly differently. If it's actually a different name, the original article needs to remain as a redirect to the dubbed name. However, if it was an INCORRECT TRANSLATION, like "Serendipitous Pair", the previous page needs to be DELETED AS A FAN-NAME. This is something that needs to be done carefully, as there are instances like the Mega Shadow being parsed without a hyphen in Final Mix, but with a hyphen in days. Both of those would be correct spellings.

When an article is moved, all templates and articles which list it need to be corrected as well. Furthermore, we might want to add a "See Also" section to the enemy articles (and get rid of that "Magic Heartless" category) for enemies with the same body-type, like the Soldiers and Dualblades. We will also need a disambig for ????.

Wait, have you already got the guide right now?

Haha, I guess you do.

Early birthday present. We're not really trying this year.

I've actually got a party to go to now, so I'm going to take a break from this until tomorrow. I'll try to post dub lists for the gears and weapons as well, and then I'll revamp the templates for Days Heartless and weapons so we can start that going.

DTN, don't forget to remove the translation templates after you move the pages.

All of the enemy pages are moved correctly now. I suppose it's time to make the templates? Unless you want to work on moving weapons and such first, Kryten.

Sorry, I forgot to make the name changes in the article and remove the template for the first two or three pages that I moved. I got those all fixed, though. Well, we've got everything moved, then. Thanks for fixing up what I missed, GS. So, I suppose we should do weapons now, then.

Sorry if you meant for some of those to be redirected, you said to get rid of translations so I misunderstood.

EDIT: Nevermind, you were clear, I just didn't realize that some of the titles that needed to be moved had (!) beside them.

Well, I picked up the guide today at the mall. I've already finished Xigbar's weapons, so I'll post the weapons for Xaldin-Larxene. Basically, they're in the same order as they are in our navigation template, so you'll hopefully be able to know what to move by that. These all need to be moved, as none of our names are correct. I have to leave to go to dinner; I'll try to upload more later. --DoorToNothing

The problem is that some need to be moved with redirects and some need to be moved without redirects. This is why we should wait for Kryten. I'm not sure if all of them should leave redirects behind or not.

Especially the translated names need to be moved carefully. DTN, could you let me handle those?

Gwah. It took forever cleaning up after Xaldin. I'm going to upload Axel, Demyx, and Luxord next, but give me some time. DTN, if you want to do those, feel free, but I'd like to handle the translation names - Lexaeus, Zexion, Marluxia, and Larxene.

Sorry for apparently screwing up the movement of Xaldin's weapons. I've looked over the guide, and it seems that Demyx and Luxord have almost identical to what we have. I'll make those moves, and fix and make the + redirects. Feel free to take care of the rest of those CoM members' weapons. (By the way, have I mentioned that it's really annoying that I can only move about two pages every five minutes or so?)

We'll have to wait for the game to be out to get translations for the limit breaks. The entire coverage of limit breaks in the guide is:
  • Limit Gauge: When HP drops into the yellow portion of the bar, Limit Break becomes available.

The guide also neglects to mention the stick and struggle bat that Roxas picks up.
