The Zephyr is Xaldin's most basic weapon, and therefore requires no Gears in order to wield. In appearance, the Zephyr is almost entirely grey, symbolizing its nature as the most basic of all of Xaldin's weapons through the use of achromatic colors.
A Zephyr Lance's shaft is white in the center and black on the ends, the two colors being separated by small, light grey rings. The lower end of the Lance is shaped like a grey, elongated diamond. The upper end is larger and shaped more like an arrowhead with a black center and light grey edges.
The name "Zephyr" comes from a word that refers to a light, westerly wind, which is, in turn, derived from the name of the Greek god of the west wind, Zephyrus.
The Zephyr's ground combo starts with a sideways slash using one Lance, followed by a downward diagonal slash using the other Lance. It ends with a thrust of all six Lances forwards at once.
