"Critical Drive" is a musical composition by Yoko Shimomura that appears in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It is one of the battle themes of The World that Never Was.

Composition[edit]
"Critical Drive" is approximately two minutes and fifty-six seconds long and plays at a tempo of 170 beats per minute. The piece has a time signature of 4/4 time. The piece has an eight measure introduction that lasts around twelve seconds, and then leads into the repeated melodic section, allowing for smooth transitions between loops. The instrumentation includes strings, piano, female vocals, synthesizer, drums, cymbals, and organ.
The piece is a rearrangement of "Deep Drive", the battle theme of the World That Never Was in Kingdom Hearts II, albeit with a unique introduction.
