An Ability is a technique attached to Cards in Kingdom Hearts Dark Road.

In battle, a Card's ability can be activated by selecting it as the first Card to be played. The abilities of the other two Cards will not activate. There are three main types of abilities: offensive physical abilities, offensive magic abilities, and support abilities that can provide passive boosts, inflict status effects, or restore HP. Some Cards also have a sub-ability (サブアビリティ Sabu Abiriti?), an extra ability that is activated when a Card is played as the second or third in a set of three. Sub-abilities are exclusively supporting abilities.
