Props, also called Gimmicks (ギミック Gimikku?), are interactable objects that appear in many worlds throughout the Kingdom Hearts series. Props can be attacked, examined, or otherwise interacted with by the player.

Props usually drop Munny and MP prizes; however, some also drop synthesis materials and ingredients. Some props in Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days have HP bars.

Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories[edit]

All gimmicks that drop HP prizes, Moogle Points, or a Card use the following distribution unless otherwise noted. The Cards dropped by gimmicks are determined by the world. In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, the props are always reset each time the player re-enters the room, while in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, the props are not reset when the room is re-entered and the room must be recreated to keep on re-rolling the drops.
