Not played this game in awhile. Suppose I should play it again? Well, considering the doubt of the HD version being released in PAL, guess this one will be my only copy... Never mind, it's confirmed for Europe. I should play it as soon as I get the HD version.

KHII was started January 10. It is set to end before March 11.

Over the past few days, temptation to play KHII rose high. After a sadistic battle with Courtney Gears, I have succumbed to it. This is not the first time high temptation lead me to play a KH game. It's currently in rotation with Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One.

Note: I always stay in Halloween Town, Pride Lands and Space Paranoids for days. The reasons why is because of Sora's forms/costumes for all three worlds, and I, being a female, may get a little carried away with fighting the Heartless in these worlds.

Gameplay for Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy lasted from January 18 to January 19, and it was played entirely within Halloween Town. Gameplay for Jak II began January 20 and ended January 25. Like the first game, it was played entirely within one world; in this case, Space Paranoids. PlayStation Move Heroes, which contains the duo, was played entirely within Space Paranoids, much like Jak II and Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time.

Gameplay for Jak 3 began January 27 and ended January 30. Gameplay started in Space Paranoids, and ended in Port Royal. It is the only game in the trilogy to be played in more than one KH world, as gameplay also covers Hollow Bastion, Atlantica, Beast's Castle, the Land of Dragons and 100 Acre Wood.

Due to high temptation, I have decided to replay Dream Drop Distance. It was in rotation with Final Fantasy XII, Jak II and Jak 3.

I will begin a new gameplay in May. I want to be in The Grid for my 19th birthday.

Like with Kingdom Hearts II, should Sora or Riku be in The Grid, their images will change; if only one of them is in there, both images will change, regardless.

These Dream Eaters remind me of Pokémon. Even "Dream Eater" comes from the series; it's the name of a Psychic-type move that allows a Pokémon to drain HP from a sleeping Pokémon. Drowzy, Hypno, Munna and Mushana are well-known "Dream Eaters" within the franchice.

Other Game Status

Gameplay for Final Fantasy XII began October 16 (a few minutes after midnight), and should end before December 23.

Since Final Fantasy XII was started two months early, the game that was started Christmas Eve was Final Fantasy XIII. Traditions were still the same (meaning it began on the 24th, after watching Tron: Legacy). Story mode ended February 21. Gameplay hiatus will begin March 11, and it will last one week. Currently, no games have been confirmed, but Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be most likely, though it depends. No KH games will be played until May 24. There is a chance of another cycle with Ratchet & Clank or Jak and Daxter, but this is unlikely.

Overall

What do you think guys? Sora's Meow Wow becoming the KH series mascot like Ash's Pikachu for the Pokémon franchice?

• Gag: Most worlds are quite huge, and it's possible that the heroes have only seen a tiny portion of that world. It's also said some people have found ways to travel to other places, such as Genie and Santa Claus. There has yet to be proof that the world boundaries are on land (similar to the ones in Stone Hill and Cliff Town from Spyro the Dragon).
• Gag: When I first saw Sora in his Halloween Town outfit in 2006 (for the first game), I kinda did not pay too much attention to the costume (mainly because I was not really paying attention to the game at all; just focusing on finishing it). In fact, I learn of his "eyepatch" from my brother (prior to that, I mistook it for part of his hair).
• Gag: In Halloween Town, Sora has far more voiced quotes in KHII than in the first game. In KH1, he only has four voiced lines, during the first half of the visit, then remains as silent as Red. Neither Donald or Goofy speak at all in voiced cutscenes during the visit.
• Gag: Out of all world-based party members in the series (excluding main characters), the only ones who are aware of other worlds are Aladdin, Genie, Ariel, Beast and Simba. While Tron does know that there is a world outside his computer world, it's unknown if he knew about any other world (due to his world being Ansem's Computer). It's also currently unknown if he is aware that he is a copy of Rinzler
• Tip: Out of all of Sora's world forms, only two change battle stats. While he gets great speed as a merman, Sora's accuracy is far lower than normal*. Sora gets both speed and good accuracy as a lion, thus making it a good form for leveling up*.
• Gag: Normally, villains in the series are killed after their battles with the protagonist (usually Sora), with several exceptions (such as with Barbossa, Hades, Gantu etc.). Rarely does a villain turn over a new leaf. The only one to do this so far is Iago, though some of us think Pete will do the same thing.
• Gag: Many females in the series, especially Megara and the Princesses of Heart, are portrayed as damsels in distress, which is quite controversial. Even Mulan herself was a damsel in distress at one point, despite being a party member. Noticeable exceptions (excluding playable characters and villains) are Selphie, Yuffie, Aerith, Olette, Fuu, Mrs. Potts, Cirrus*, Tifa, Kanga, the Grand Councilwoman, Rhyme and the Blue Fairy.
  • Only a few "damsels in distress" have been shown in combat: Kairi (Keyblade wealder; rumoured to be playable in KHIII), Ariel (party member in KH1), Mulan (party member in KHII), Belle (elbowed Xaldin in self-defense), Minnie (ally during the Heartless invasion in Disney Castle), Nala (tackled Scar to protect Sora), Cinderella (D-Link; also owns Attack Commands), Snow White (D-Link) and Quorra (attacked Rinzler to protect Sora).

• Gag: There are many symbols around the series. I'll write more later.
• Gag: Most of the main characters share a voice actor with a main or recurring character in the Pokémon anime. This does not include Characters of the Day.
  • Sora - Montgomery and Nate
  • Riku - Cilan
  • Aqua - Dawn
  • Roxas and Ventus - Cameron
  • So far, Terra and Kairi are the only protagonists who do not share a voice actor with a main or recurring character, though the former shares his voice actor with a character of the day (Zane).
• Gag: Characters actually swear in the manga (Better not let the kids read it). At one point in the 17th Chapter, Riku says "What the hell are you doing?" when he and Sora were reunited in Traverse Town in the manga adaption for the first game (at the scene where Sora plays with Riku's face to see if it's really Riku); later in that chapter, Sora himself curses ("Why the hell not?") while arguing with Donald.
• Gag: Tron is the only party member in the series who also served as a villain, excluding D-Links and members of Organization XIII.
• Gag: Space Paranoids and Symphony of Sorcery are the only two worlds in the series without any female characters. However, the DTD computer voice in the former uses a female voice.
• Gag: Even though most films with a KH world have sequels or spinoffs, only two have been adapted within the Kingdom Hearts series: The Return of Jafar and Tron: Legacy.
• Gag: Neverland and Port Royal are the only worlds in the series to contain pirates.
  • Also, following the destruction of the Interceptor in Port Royal, Sora can access a chest that contains the Feather Charm, which allows him to summon Peter Pan. This is a reference to Neverland being a pirate world like Port Royal.
• Gag: A recurring gag in the original trilogy is that Sora and his friends will be "crushed and gulped". This first happened in Traverse Town, when Donald and Goofy are blown off a building and land right on top of Sora, crushing him. This is how they met. Later on, in Neverland, during their rendezvous before meeting Peter Pan, they are again "crushed and gulped". In Kingdom Hearts II, this happens twice: when they introduce themselves to Auron, and when they tacked Abu to stop him after he steals a gem from the Cave of Wonders.
• Gag: Several characters have broken the fourth wall. In at least one case, it can be difficult to point out.
  • Donald Duck: Pulled camera towards himself during his meeting with Aerith. (KH1 game)
  • Mr. Smee: Spoke to the audience about them knowing what is going to happen next. (KH1 manga)
  • Genie: "Heck, I can even go behind the page!" (CoM manga)
  • Mushu: Pulls out KH1 manga, complaining that he's been cut out (KHII manga)
  • Hades: Looks at camera when he says "...and I know just the warrior" (KHII game)
  • Tron: "Sora, Donald, Goofy, and all the users out there. Thank you." (KHII game; hard to point out)
  • Aqua: Looks at camera and waves to the player in the Command Board's main menu. (BbS game)
• Gag: Kingdom Hearts II is the only game to date with a happy ending.
• Gag: (Sora to his friends: "We can't just go around knocking kings off their thrones...") You should see how many rulers were de-throned because of them (or their allies):
  • Jafar: Directly (Took control of Agrabah while in search of Jasmine)
  • Ursula: Directly (Twice)
  • Maleficent: Indirectly (despite two battles with her, it was "Riku" who caused her death)
  • Shan-Yu: Directly (Might not count, as his attempt to get the throne failed because of Donald Duck spotting him)
  • Scar: Indirectly (Simba defeated him alone. Scar, however, became a Heartless, forcing the party to join him in battle)
  • Master Control Program: Directly (Derezzed along with Sark due to the HBRC's teamwork)
  • Grimhilde: Indirectly (Chased by Dwarfs, killed by nature. Nothing to do with the main party, though...)
  • Frollo: Indirectly (Not really a ruler; killed by molten copper after falling)

• Gag: Some characters get a journal misconception regarding their debut

Playing in a Car

A few tips on playing KH games while in a moving car. Make sure you're wearing earphones at all times, especially if you're in the country and are traveling at more than 50mph. Always play in a shade; the sun can really reduce your visibility. Due to the movement, fighting and doing certain mini-games is harder. Trust me: it took me three tries to complete Ice Cream Beat in the main storyline (as Ventus) in BbS. NEVER play near if there is an open window; if you lose your console (by accidently throwing it, dropping it, or having a younger sibling/cousin through it out), chances are, it'll be destroyed before you can pick it up. (Trust me; I lost my Game Boy Color this way, along with a copy of Pokémon Blue)

If your family/friends decideds to do a stop, it's worth to stop playing for a little while. Simpally switch off the game (if you're on BbS) or close the (3)DS (if you're playing Days, Re:Coded or DDD) and you can resume where you left instantly. Hide your handheld in the car to keep it safe. (Though I took my PSP with me when my dad, grandmother and I decided to have lunch in a town on the way home; I kept it in my bag, though).

KH

• Gag: In Halloween Town, the two snakes that are biting each other's tails (Hope and Despair) appear to be a reference to The Neverending Story, as a talisman, known famously as AURYN, shows two snakes biting each other's tails.

KHII

• Tip: In the Awakening, each Dusk will grant you 6 EXP each. In the area between the place with a Save Point and the boss, there are ten Dusks at a time (meaning: 6 x 10 = 60). Use this until Roxas is at least on level 5.
• Gag: There are 14 Vivis that are fought. A 15th one appears, but it does not fight Roxas.
• Tip: The easiest way to get 2,000 Munny is by the Mail run. My best record is 7.86 seconds.
• Gag: The command menu changes appearance within the mansion: normal for the foyer, dining room and library, CO-style for the White Room, and a style similar to the one in Space Paranoids for the last three rooms (Computer Room, Basement Hall and the Basement Corridor).
• Gag: Sora has a one-handed pose (which is only shown in some cutscenes). I'll keep track of when he uses it.
  • 1: Twilight Town: When the Nobodies are fought at the station before King Mickey appears the first time.
  • 2: Yen Sid's Tower: Just before fighting the Heartless sent by Pete.
  • 3: Hollow Bastion: Just before fighting the Nobodies alongside Leon.
  • 4: Space Paranoids: Just before the Solar Sailor battle.
• Gag: 16 Rapid Thrusters charge down the mountain alongside Shan Yu before they are hit by the avalanche.
• Gag: At one point, Sora accidently calls Mulan "Ping", since he was kinda used to calling her that.

• Gag: When the Beast got angry that Belle disappeared without permission, both Donald and Goofy were frightened by it, since they curled up together when the Wardrobe said "Temper, temper".
  • Also, just before the battle in the Ballroom, Donald jumped onto Goofy in fright, trying to get away from the darkness on the ground.
• Gag: It appears Pete thought Hades was going to revive Maleficent, due to the line "Mother of all bad guys" (Pete to Hades: "You don't say...").
• Gag: When Hades mentioned that Zeus locked up the underdrome tight, Pete said "D'oh".
• Gag: The Moogle in Timeless River is the only one in the game with a form change. Somehow, the Moogles in Halloween Town and Space Paranoids does not have different forms, even though the Heartless in both worlds chance form as well.

• Gag: Timeless River is set sometime (presumably around 100 years) before the events of KHII. Ironically, it's one of the most modern worlds in the series, as many worlds are set even further in the past (some even before Christ). Only Halloween Town, Space Paranoids (in some ways), Deep Space and The Grid are set after 1928, being set in 1993, 1982, 2002 and 2010, respectively. (If one counts the Timon and Pumbaa TV series as canon, then the Pride Lands would also count, since it would be set in 1994).
• Tip: If you manage to stun Present Pete during the second battle with him, Past Pete will laugh at him as long as he (Present Pete) is not attacked by Sora.
• Gag: Donald Duck to Past Pete - "Yeah, well, just don't make a habit out of it!" However, despite this, Present Pete seems to be worse than ever, and was quite happy when both Barbossa and Scar were planning on killing the trio.
• Gag: Sora also appears to have forgotten Ariel, as well as how to swim. (Sora to Ariel: "Hi there!")
• Gag: If you talk to Donald before setting off from the port, he'll mention that Will Turner is a blacksmith, and that Elizabeth is the daughter of one of an important customer. He'll also mention that he thinks he's more of a swordsman than a blacksmith. If you talk to Goofy, he'll mention that the pirate that allied with Pete is known as Barbossa, and that people say that he'll stop at nothing to get what he wants. Goofy also questions on what Barbossa wants.
• Gag: When Genie returns from his trip, during the scene where he mistakes Pete for Aladdin, he says "Oh, the humanity". This is a reference to Herbert Morrison's infamous report on the Hindenburg disaster, which happened in New Jersey, 1937.
• Gag: If you talk to Donald while in the Graveyard in Halloween Town, just before following Zero, he'll mention that he did not like being wrapped like a mummy at first, but soon got used to it and found it to be quite fun. Goofy just mentioned on following Zero.
• Gag: At one point, Jack Skellington says "Santa Claus".
• Gag: The clock in the Town Square in Halloween Town says 10:10. To get a close view, stand near the fountain and press the Select Button, then face the Town Center between the gates and the entrance to the Graveyard. Look up to see the clock.
• Gag: It's assumed that Sora's eye detail is more real-life in the English version than the Japanese version, since he does not appear to have irises in the FM version. (Reminds me of Ratchet's eyes in the Japanese version of his series...)
• Gag: Maleficent is the only Disney antagonist to refer to Sora and his friends by name. However, the only times she does that is during the first trip to Halloween Town in KHII.
  • This is also true in BbS, where she, again, refers to the protagonists by name; this time, in front of Ventus and Aqua after being defeated by the former.
• Tip: At first, it appears that the Pride Lands have the most treasure chests. However, the world that really has the most treasure is Twilight Town.

In the Pride Lands, the Bolt Towers cannot use Bolt Reversal on Sora due to his lion cub appearance.

• Tip: The Bolt Towers have a reaction command called the Bolt Reversal. It will always fail in the Pride Lands because Sora is a lion in this world.
• Gag: Donald was only on the ground twice in the Pride Lands (when Sora mentioned on knocking kings off their thrones, and when they bowed down to Simba during the second visit).
• Gag: How did Goofy get across the ridge? Sora was able to leap over (thanks to Nala teaching him how) and it's assumed Donald flew across.
• Gag: Following the "Hakuna Matata" scene (where the trio join in a chant with Timon and Pumbaa), Sora will remain as silent as Red. He does not talk again until Simba is overcome by the Hyenas, where he tries to deal with them all.
• Gag: The way Scar fell off the peak is similar to a scene in Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, where Ratchet accidently ejected Clank from a car while filming an episode of Secret Agent Clank, which guest-stared one of Dr. Nefarious's henchmen, Courtney Gears. As a result, Ratchet was fired from the show, and replaced with Skrunch the Monkey.
• Gag: According to Pete, Scar became a Heartless due to Anger and Jealousy. It's assumed Lady Tremaine and her daughters also became Heartless for the same reason 11 years ago, since Aqua said that the darkness in their hearts overtook them.
• Gag: If you look over the cliff during the battle with Scar, you can see that the world is falling into darkness (again). Is it even possible to destroy a world when the Door to Darkness has already been closed and locked?
• Gag: Hunny Slider reminds me of the chase levels in the classic Crash Bandicoot series, mainly the part where giant snowballs chase Sora and Pooh (and Gopher).
• Gag: I wonder why Experiment 626 is living in Hollow Bastion, when his (new) world has already been restored. There is a chance that he never met Lilo/Yuna* and traveled all over the galaxy, making new friends, learning much about the good stuff, and possibly got his name (Stitch) from somebody. It's already been proven that ship's built under the command of the Grand Councilwoman can travel through space, as shown with Terra and Ventus.
  • As his world didn't appear in Dream Drop Distance, who knows why he's in RG.
• Gag: Before unlocking the door-like barrier in the Pit Cell, if you talk to Donald, he'll mention that he's annoyed with that they're in a computer system because of the sparkles, which are making him dizzy. It's possible that he soon got used to them, as he does not show any more complaints afterwards.
• Gag: It appears Goofy was telling the truth during the Light Cycle sequence, since he didn't appear to touch the terminal at all.
• Gag: If you look closely, you can see a Hidden Mickey just as Sora, Donald and Goofy are returned to the Pit Cell.
• Gag: If you talk to Tron after the Light Cycle round, he'll mention "If you hadn't rescued me, it would have stolen all my data", referencing that the MCP can absorb programs into his own data, then derezz them. If you talk to Donald, he'll mention that this is the same cell that the four were locked in before they escaped. Goofy will just mention on where to look for the Dataspace.
• Tip: Tron has a very powerful limit that he'll obtain after being restored. This can get very high hits (my record number is 385). In fact, the only character to be able to break his impressive record is Chicken Little (with 656).
• Gag: Space Paranoids is one of only two worlds where the antagonist appears first, followed by supporting characters, then the main character. The other world is Port Royal.
  • Also, both are based on live-action films, and the party member for both worlds die in a sequel: Captain Jack Sparrow was lost to Davy Jones' Locker (but later rescued), while Tron (also known as Rinzler) was presumed to have drowned after using a Kamikaze move on CLU's airship and falling into the Sea of Simulation below. (His fate remains disrupted as of June 2012, but it's most likely he perrished)
• Gag: Sora was shown to be upset during the password sequence. After Donald and Goofy said the names for Belle, Snow White, Aurora, Alice, Jasmine, Cinderella, Sora was shown to be looking down, before mentioning Kairi (Tron: "Kairi. Got it!")
• Gag: Based on what Tron said before returning to Hollow Bastion after defeating the Hostile Program, it might be possible for programs to leave their computer worlds (as later proven with Quorra). However, this could be doubtful unless they enter a robotic body, and, thus, become robots.
• Gag: Donald and Goofy express signs of two of the Deadly Sins following the defeat of the Storm Rider; Donald with Greed, Goofy with Gluttony. We already know about the former's fault thanks to Port Royal and Agrabah, but this is (currently) the darkest thing we ever see the latter do.
• Gag: How did the Beast change back into his purple cape? It was only one small battle, y'know!
• Tip: Sometimes, in the Town at Port Royal, a group of Heartless or pirates will attack you when all of the foes have been slain. Use this if you want to level up in the port.
• Gag: Some people wonder if the Ship Graveyard is based on the one that appeared in At World's End. I doubt that, as nobody seems to live there, and it's assumed Luxord send the undead pirates there himself to stop us (in case we survived).
• Gag: Sora used the term "world" when telling Captain Jack Sparrow on how the Organization has been spreading Heartless all over the galaxy. It's usually forbidden to tell people there are other worlds, though it's possible that he may have said it without realising. Just a good thing it was not taken seriously...
• Gag: In one cutscene, just before fighting the Dusks, Sora and his friends hear voices coming from Auron's statue. Most (maybe all) of them came from Final Fantasy X, making it canon in some ways. However, what happened in Auron's past (in the KH series) remains unknown, since Tidus and Wakka are located in the Destiny Islands and YRP are located in Radiant Garden, all with different backgrounds, while Lulu, Kimahri, Jecht, Braska and Seymour all don't make a single appearance (so far).
• Gag: The star images of Sora, Donald and Goofy are actually their official renders for the game.
• Gag: For some reason (in KHII), no one from Organization XIII has bothered to show his face in Halloween Town or the Pride Lands. Xigbar, Xaldin, Demyx and Luxord have all appeared in The Land of Dragons, Beast's Castle, Olympus Coliseum and Port Royal, respectively, while an unknown member (presumably Luxord) appeared in Agrabah (as mentioned by the Peddler).
• Gag: In some scenes in Halloween Town (PAL version only), you can clearly see Sora's covered eye. This happens when he said "Huh? What fellows?" (during the first visit), and later on, just before he said "But, you'd thought you'd hold onto the suit" (during the second visit). In both the PAL and NTSC versions, following his famous daydream with Kairi, he looks up at the sky and his eye is exposed again.
• Tip: I was able to crack the mystery of the Rapid Thruster battle at the Pride Lands: there are 226 of them! This means: 56 X 226 = 12,656 EXP!
• Gag: There may be a glitch involving the music. During a battle, while in the Pride Lands, the normal music simply went silent and did not play at all. However, the battle music remained at normal.
• Gag: Merlin is the only character outside the party to have connection with all three worlds-within-a-world (100 Acre Wood, Timeless River and Space Paranoids): he found the book that contains the 100 Acre Wood, he assigned Sora, Donald and Goofy on their mission in Timeless River, and he and Cid worked together (by force) to create an MCP Eradication Program (also known as a "loony wizard special") for Tron.
• Tip: 11,625 EXP is what you get for a whole lap for SP, from the Pit Cell to the Solar Sailor and back. Don't forget about the Dataspace.
• Gag: For some reason, Tron was never given the "!" during the second trip, since he is needed for the MCP battle. The party members who got this mark were Mulan (as Ping), Auron, Captain Jack Sparrow and Simba, though only the first and third of these party members for was needed for certain battles.
• Gag: "Sora, Donald, Goofy, and all the users out there. Thank you." Anyone notice Tron's line might be breaking the fourth wall?
• Gag: Wait a minute: I thought The Encounter is only played during battles with Disney Villains such as Oogie Boogie. It plays during the Mansion battle where King Mickey joins you. Weird...
• Gag: If you talk to Kairi at the Proof of Existence after killing Saïx, she'll mention that she wants to fight as well as Sora and Riku, since they should not be the only ones to get hurt in battle.
• Gag: Just before the first battle with Xemnas, Pete makes a reference to the film Gone with the Wind, by saying to Maleficent "Frankly, my dear, I'd rather RUN!", a pun on the famous line "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn".

A Hot Rod...

• Tip: Frost Stones can only be obtained in Timeless River. If you don't want to return after defeating Pete, try to obtain at least twelve Frost Stones. The best way is to kill all the Heartless in Mickey's House, then fight the Hot Rods and Aeroplanes in the Scene of the Fire. After killing all the Heartless there, head back to Cornerstone Hill through Mickey's House, then head to where you fought Past Pete, and return to CH. Go through Mickey's House again, and head back to the SotF, and the Heartless there will respawn. Repeat until your stockpile is at 25, which will enable you to purchase the stones in the shop.
  • If you manage to pick the Dream Sword as Roxas, and then train Sora to level 41 after he wakes up, you'll obtain Lucky Lucky. However, reaching lv. 41 in TR is not easy, so it's easier to use this route.
• Tip: There is only one Moogle Shop in the Pride Lands, and it is at the Oasis. During the second visit, it cannot be accessed at all, since by time you reach the Oasis, a cutscene will begin, and you will be automatically taken back to Pride Rock, with the route blocked off by the Groundshaker.

Days

• Gag: Demyx might have been based on David Bowie; he resembles the singer, dreams of becoming a rock star (like Bowie) and even states a quote ("Dance Water, dance!") which is similar to one of Bowie's songs (Dance Magic, Dance, from the film Labyrinth). Heck, see for yourself.
  • According to that website, lots of characters actually resemble Bowie. Such examples include Castor (a neutral character in Tron: Legacy), Blanka (Street Fighter), even Zangoose (a Pokémon)

BbS

• Gag: If you look into the ballroom before heading into the side passage (as Terra), you can see Cinderella and Prince Charming dancing.
• Gag: I wonder why Master Eraqus taught Aqua that Darkness can be destroyed with Light? If the Fairy Godmother did not appear to stop Aqua from assassinating the Tremaine Trio, then it's likely that the Castle of Dreams would have had a larger chance (around 17%) of lasting long enough for Sora to come and save it.
  • Then again, they all have enough Darkness (estimated to be at 99.99%) in their Hearts to be considered a threat to their world. Like all other villains who are labeled as a threat, the only way to protect the world is to kill them, meaning Aqua appeared to make the right choice.
• Gag: It's assumed that the Tremaine Trio were turned into Heartless*, since Aqua said that their darkness overtook them. According to Pete, Anger and Jealousy can turn one into a Heartless, as proven with Scar eleven years later.

You can re-spawn the Prize Pods by playing on the Command Board in the world you are in.

• Tip: If you play on the Command Board while in a world, the Prize Pods will respawn after the game.
• Gag: On the select option for the Command Board, if you take a look at Aqua, she will break the fourth wall by looking at the camera and wave to the player.
• Gag: Another reference to the Number 13: In the dungeon in the Dwarf Woodlands, you have 13 seconds to reach caged areas (during the second run). If you are playing as Terra, then you will be able to reach some Prize Pods.
• Gag: For some reason, none of the trio went inside the 100 Acre Wood and befriended Winnie the Pooh.
• Gag: People always wonder why Lea and Isa broke into Hollow Bastion, only to be caught and thrown out by Dilan. One reason could be because there may be treasure. Another because they want to steal some records from Ansem the Wise to make it public. We may never know...
• Tip: If you attack the letterbox in Disney Town (the one near the Ice Cream vendor), you might get a new command.

Due to her alliance with the Grand Councilwoman, Aqua will not be attacked by the Blasters.

• Gag: For some reason, a spaceship can travel through space, despite the walls between worlds, and the worlds between being forbidden pathways. Maybe the ship that's Deep Space has some functions that can allow it's crew to visit other worlds?
• Tip: The Blaster‎s in Deep Space will not attack Aqua, so there is no need to worry about them.
• Gag: Hades called Aqua "a little girl, a little lassy and a little bluebird". The first two are possible insults to her gender, and the latter towards her hair and clothing.
• Gag: How did Terra get into the ship? And why would Gantu throw him in jail when he was unconscious and possibly injured? Does that ship even have a Medical Outpost?
• Gag: Donald and Goofy were both present at the Mysterious Tower when Ventus and Aqua visited the world, but they somehow forgot about it eleven years later, as proven when Donald said "Master Yen Sid lives here!?". What was the cause of this?
• Gag: Since when did Hook gain control of the Unversed? He sent some to attack Ventus after kidnapping Tinker Bell. Well, maybe he (along with the Tremaines) met Vanitas...
• Gag: Vanitas only has a few scenes in Terra's story, and only spoke in his first cutscene (which appears in all three stories) and in the battle with him (and Master Xehanort). This makes him as silent as Red for this part of the story.

DDD

• Gag: A lot of stuff in Dream Drop Distance appears to make references to other Japanese franchices, namely Pokémon.
  • Dream Eater is the name of a Psychic-type move in the Pokémon series. In the KH series, it is the name of the creatures that both serve as fightable enemies and serve as party members. A difference from the Pokémon series here is that the "trainers" (Sora and Riku, in this case) fight alongside the "Pokémon".
  • The Necho Cat (and, by extension, Frootz Cat) appears to be a combination of two Pokémon: Glameow and Purrloin.
  • The Sudo Neku partly resembles Snivy, the Grass-type starter of Unova.
  • The Dual Disc's name could be a reference to Yu-Gi-Oh, as the original series rival invented a device that allows players to duel on the streets. This machina is also called a Duel Disc.

"Do I look like a Purrloin? Or a Glameow?"

• Gag: A Necho Cat can be an active party member for Riku. As I said earlier, the Dream Eater resembles Purrloin, and Riku shares his Japanese voice actor with Cilan, who hates Purrloin. It's a surprise that Riku can handle cats while Cilan cannot.
• Gag: The Court of Miracles actually contains the gallows that Quasimodo and Phoebus were nearly hanged on in the film.
• Gag: The way Sora enters The Grid and checks out his armor mimics how he entered Space Paranoids and checked out his original armor (by waking up, looking around and looking at his hands and under his arm).
• Gag: Sora is shown in both sets of armor for the computer worlds he's been in (his KHII design transparent over his current design) after Rinzler is defeated and he remembers Sora from Tron's previous encounter. This could imply that RG Tron and Rinzler share the same Heart, as RG Tron is simply a copy of Rinzler.
• Gag: Despite what Yen Sid said about old allies within the dream world not regonising Sora or Riku, at least one person does regonise Sora (but only for a few minutes).
• Gag: I wonder how Sora was able to survive being underwater in Prankster's Paradise without diving equipment or becoming a Merman. Maybe the Blue Fairy casted a spell on him to temporarily prevent drowning, since Sora mentioned in an earier game that he could drown if he enters Atlantica.
  • One explanation is that Sora's clothes are magical, like his KHII outfit, allowing him to breathe underwater. Another is that Sora could be wearing a hidden O2 Mask, which would make further sence for Sci-Fi fans like myself. It's also possible that the Dream Worlds don't require breathing, though Sora did struggle to breathe in The Grid at one point...
• Gag: In Country of the Musketeers, Donald is portrayed as a coward and Goofy as an idiot. Though they soon manage to get over all this, both might have kept some of their preveous personalities as Donald was shown to be a coward in Atlantica, the Underworld, Halloween Town and the Pride Lands, while Goofy was shown to be an idiot by fiddling with the terminal in the Pit Cell in Space Paranoids, accidently sending the trio into the Game Grid (the manga adaption sticks more closer to his true nature, however)
• Gag: Two of Sora's former party members (other than the main characters and Tron) are referenced in DDD: Captain Jack Sparrow's name is a part of the Dream Eater cups, while Auron will sometimes send Sora or Riku a party or challenge through a Link Portal.
