In the midst of their battle, Roxas and Aqua's quarrel became airborne several times. However, as Roxas tried to bring their match to an early end with his Event Horizon, Aqua was able to Cartwheel out of the way, taking only minor additions to her major injuries. The mage was able to blast the Nobody with a flurry of holy and burning magic during his time of weakness, which brought him to his knees in defeat. Meanwhile, the violent battle between Riku and the King was becoming even more disastrous. As symbolically their two Keyblades of darkness clashed, tendrils of the force crept around them. But once Mickey tried to envelop Riku in light with Pearl, Riku was able to escape through a corridor of darkness. Soon after he returned behind Mickey, a Dark Aura was launched, and a fiery eruption of darkness destroyed the King... and then there were two.

Suddenly, the world collapsed. The entire ground shattered as it had been while the final combatants fought on the fountain, and all of the remaining canyon walls came crashing down, forming enormous clouds of dust and destruction. The entire world was a sphere of rubble now; even the mountain on which Aqua and Riku found each others match was destroyed. And yet... the two heroes were floating above the destroyed terrain. Dirt and boulders floated around the world, which had become a hurricane-filled sphere of floating remnants of a war, and the destroyed canyon's remains. Under the heroes, an "X" had formed--it was time for the end. The X-Blade was ready to be formed, to be delivered to the champion of all heroes and villains alike. In the very center of this destruction, more oblivion shall be unleashed from the battle between Aqua and Riku.

The passionate blue eyes of the mage, fighting for her friends and the peace of the worlds, met the sparkling blue eyes of the friend, fighting to accept the darkness within him and save his own companions. Aqua raised the Stormfall toward the black coated figure of Riku, wielding the power of the Way to the Dawn. A Keyblade Master of old shall do battle with a Keyblade wielder anew. Light will meet darkness, amidst a destroyed world begging to burst into the confines of space. Magical cannons of spells shall be unleashed, monstrous slashes shall transpire, and Keyblade shall meet Keyblade for what might be the final time! Here, the truly most powerful Keyblade wielder of all shall be revealed to all Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed, and Somebody eyes!

This, the final battle, is where the Keyblade War truly begins!

  47. User:alwe9704 Out of all the playable characters in Kingdom Hearts. I enjoyed Aqua the most. Being a spellcaster and killing Vanitas is just the top of the iceberg. She was able to defeat Terra-Xehanort. Who was arguably stronger then Ansem SoD from the original Kingdom Hearts. Also I really enjoy female heroines.

  1. Riku's a character that we as players have had the pleasure of observing as he developed throughout the first three games of the series. While Aqua already starts out with such a strong resolve against darkness, in the end, surviving it for the sake of her friends, Riku succumbs to it to achieve his goals of freedom. I'm voting for Riku because he represents the salvation that can be reached no matter how dark one's path is, and he shows how a strong heart can overcome any obstacle through balance and judgment.Master Boye 05:07, December 24, 2010 (UTC)

  9. Riku is much more powerful a character than Aqua. (not physically. his character is) Aqua was light all the way. All the goody-goody-girl. Riku, however, gave into the darkness. Later, he tries to rid of the darkness but ultimately accepts it and uses it to protect his friends. That's what makes a true character. There are seven of Aqua's current 25 votes that refer to her hotness as the reason they're voting for her. Take that away and she has 17 votes, which is still more than enough to beat Riku right now. Check it out! I'm Riku's 13th vote! That just SCREAMS signicance. Personally, I only feel ticked at all of the votes for Aqua that only have to do with her being sexy or that the voter hates Riku's gutts. I mean, everyone is entitled to their own oppinions and reasons, but just those two alone is kinda lame, even if they don't even make up a third of the total votes. It's kinda like voting for your friend if they are running for class president or something, if you're just voting for him because he is your friend even though you think that the other guy has some better ideas, though whether you vote for him or not is up to you, it's not too highly encouraged. So, ipso-ergo (I hate using phrases I can't even spell, but Kingdom Hearts commands me), though it might not be illeagal to vote for someone for those reasons, it's still encouraged that you vote for more positive reasons (or understated reasons) like Aqua having an admirable personality or having an undying faith for her friends as strong as Riku's, etc., just like what Caelum said (minus the HATE's and screwing). Still, this is the final battle, so statements must be said, and votes must be made if we are to see a winner, and though I hope for the best both characters (cause I'd probably be fine with whoever won), I doubt (or at least hope not) that we will see a rise in votes tomorrow, since it is Christmas and we should all be obeying someone's loving threats and be spending time with our families (and PRESENTS!XD), not on the computor. I still cant believe Riku, who has appeared in every Kingdom Hearts game except coded, is getting beat by Aqua, who has only appeared in one game and has some of the worst voice acting I've ever seen. Most of Aqua's votes are either revenge on Riku for beating Mickey or "She's so hot" votes. And even if they give a different reason, Riku is the freaken deuteragonist for Pete's sake! I sincerely apologize for my earlier rant. It just really bugs me that a lot of people voted for Aqua just because she's sexy. I think that kinda abuses her character. And about the exageration thing, i apologize. Possibly one of my worst features is that i tend to over-exaggerate when I'm especially angry. I just don't think it's fair for the other characters. But that's fine. I calmed down. I'll willingly accept Aqua's victory. Que Sera Sera. Who doesn't over-exagerate when they're angry (well, besides Xemnas, who can't be angry, so just over-exagerates because of Master Xehanort's "Crazey Fingers", which I swear must be in homage to Master Hand and Crazey Hand, because those things are just too similar, especially for people like me who fantasize KH-SSB X-overs a lot, and- well I'm getting ahead of my self)? That's just one of our flaws as Humans who don't have their Hearts in the cneter of their cheasts like the KH characters, because if we did, then we would still have the same traits, we would just be in the KH story line (and therefore, more AWSOME!). Let's just pull a Xemnas, and see how this transpires from the safety and comfort of our chairs (any chair you're using is probably ten times more comfy than the Org.'s marble-only thrones, XD!). Im not sure about anyone else, but I voted for Aqua for a REAL reason. So please stop complaining about "its only cause shes sexy" because theres more to it. Aqua has a huge role in the kh world, while Riku has a minor one. Aqua is 18 while Riku is 15. Aqua is a keyblade MASTER, while Riku is a average keyblade user. Think about it, Riku and Sora had to team up to beat Xemnas while Aqua defeated Terranort(Xeanort possesing Terra's body) ALONE. This is a popularity contest. Not really a vote on who would win if it was a real battle. That's the reason Jaq made it so far (i miss the little guy). And waddaya mean Riku has a minor role? Without him, Destiny Islands would have never been invaded by the Heartless and Sora would have never received the Keyblade or met Donald and Goofy. If it wasn't for Riku, almost the entire KH series wouldn't have even happened. And SPOILER Riku's gonna do the Mark of Mastery exam with Sora in 3D SPOILER. Adding on to CLC's point, Riku is on the level of a master, like Terra was. Why else would he be taking the exam? Also, Riku beat Ansem, SoD alone, even before he reached his full potential near the end of KH2, Ansem, SoD, being, as we all know, the Heartless of Terra possessed by Xehanort. Who cares if Riku is going to take the exam? Aqua became a master 11 years ago. She had beaten Riku's counterpart Terra in the exam. 1) I actually have male friends and I'm not gay. 2) When he said "I like you alot" it was kinda creepy like saying "I love you." If he said "I like you as a friend" it would be more okay. 3) I knew he tried to sign, I meant to tell him to sign correctly with ~~~~. 4)People aren't gay if they voted for a male character unless they said something perverted. When I saw the votes for Tarzan in Round 1, I thought they were kinda perverted such as "Nudity rules" which was why I voted for Alice even though I wanted Tarzan to win. Okay, Aqua isn't winning only by her sexiness. There is much more to her character then her body, frankly, and pretty much none of you quite a few of you can't grasp that. Yes, even the people who are voting for Riku; People are complaining that Aqua is winning "because of her body", but if you actually read the descriptions, you'd see otherise.
