When the chapter stars, Xaldin holds Belle hostage, trying to force Beast to submit to the Darkness. However, Belle breaks free from Xaldin's grip. Then as Sora, Donald, and Goofy begin teasing Xaldin, the Shadow Stalker arises from ground, the castle beginning to collapse. Lumière, Cogsworth, and Mrs. Potts hide under the table for shelter, while Sora, and Beast defeats the Shadow Stalker heartless. Afterwards, Lumière, Cogsworth, and Mrs. Potts find an escape, leading to the room Sora and the others are. Donald attempts to Cure Beast, but he ran out of Magic Power. As Xaldin prepares to destroy the Beast's friends, Beast surrenders to Xaldin.
