Helgi is a character in Kingdom Hearts Dark Road. He is one of the upperclassmen.
Story[edit]
Kingdom Hearts Dark Road[edit]
Helgi trains as a Keyblade wielder in Scala ad Caelum under Master Odin alongside Vidar, Vala, Vali, Hoder, Heimdall, and Sigrun. In preparation for his Mark of Mastery exam, he travels to other worlds alongside his classmates to observe the world order in them.
In Enchanted Dominion, Helgi and his classmates learn that Aurora has been cursed by Maleficent, and debate whether they should interfere. While the group rests for the night, Hoder sneaks away, and the remaining classmates decide to split up to search for her. Helgi, Sigrun, and Heimdall go together. They find Hoder's fading spirit in Maleficent's Throne Room, and the three attempt to avenge her by attacking Maleficent in her dragon form. However, as they are fighting, Baldr, possessed by darkness, approaches from behind and kills them.
Following his death, Helgi arrives at The Final World along with Heimdall, Sigrun, and Hoder, and then their spirits are able to communicate with Xehanort and Eraqus in the Underworld thanks to Hades. They explain their deaths and that they believe light and darkness may be able to coexist. Having done that, Helgi fades away once again.
Design[edit]
Helgi is a young man with pale skin, brown eyes, and golden hair which is shoulder-length in the back. He wears a sleeveless, high-collared black shirt and a beige jacket resembling a Japanese martial arts gi, and a dark grey fur capelet with gold clasps. Around his waist, he wears a beige open skirt with dark grey fur trim, with orange tassels hanging from the bottom. Over this is an orange obi sash with black ribbon and a gold Terra's Mark emblem at the center, with a tan apron with orange trim hanging from it. He also wears baggy dark grey pants, tall black boots with grey crisscrossing straps around the trunks, and black armbands lined with dark grey fur, with orange cords wrapped around them, forming an "X".
In Norse mythology, Helgi Hundingsbane is a hero, and husband of the valkyrie Sigrún.
Abilities[edit]
Like his classmates, Helgi wields the Keyblade.
