To solve the case, Judy tracks down [[Nick Wilde]], a con artist who hustled her earlier, and bribes him into helping her find Otterton. Along the way, Judy learns from Nick about his past as a victim of bullying. They figure out that Otterton, along with other missing mammals, is held in a secret facility held by Zootopia's mayor. However, in a press conference, Judy accidentally lets slip a comment implying predators are reverting back to natural instinct. Nick leaves Judy, Judy quits the police force, and Zootopia falls into disarray. Judy later makes a realization in regards to the missing mammals, and recruits Nick to finish the job. They soon discover that the missing mammals's disappearance was all courtesy of Assistant Mayor Bellwether, who intends on using the chaos to rule Zootopia. Judy and Nick manage to foil Bellwether's scheme and get reinstated into the Zootopia Police Department. | To solve the case, Judy tracks down [[Nick Wilde]], a con artist who hustled her earlier, and bribes him into helping her find Otterton.
