Not long after the initial release of the Kingdom Hearts manga, a Final Mix version was released in Japan. In 2013, the Final Mix editions were reissued by Yen Press, compiling the original three volume set into two. The Yen Press versions also include the scenes exclusive to the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix version.
Each volume cover features a scene from a world Sora will mainly explore in the specific volume.
