Synopsis
Story
Hayner, Pence and Olette find a bag of ice cream at the Usual Spot, but with an extra one. Despite their efforts, the group cannot determine the reasoning.
At the Usual Spot, Olette realizes she bought one ice cream too many, without knowing why. In the Pod Room, Roxas thinks back on the time he spent with his friends, while he slowly fades away. Axel looks out over Twilight Town from the top of a tower, as a train enters the station. Mickey steps out, and the man in the black coat is waiting for him. In the Pod Room, Sora wakes up, together with Donald and Goofy. While exploring the Old Mansion and trying to remember how they got there, Jiminy finds his journal has been erased. The group decides to head outside, remembering they were supposed to find Riku and King Mickey. Outside, they come across a festival. At the festival, Hayner and Seifer are fighting. Sora tries to intervene, and chases off Seifer by hitting him with cotton candy, and shooting a mask at his face.

Meanwhile, Roxas stands looking into Sora's pod. He hears a train, and remembers the time he spent on the tower with his "friends" as he starts to fade away. Roxas shares one more word with a sleeping Sora before disappearing for good: "You're lucky. I was supposed to have one more day. But it looks like my summer vacation...is over."
Hayner, Pence, and Olette accompany Sora, Donald, and Goofy to the station, thinking a train ride may help them remember. Sora grins, but doesn't know why. Donald and Goofy spot a group of Dusks outside, but before they can react, King Mickey appears and takes them out. He tells them to board the train, and gives Sora a pouch. As Sora says goodbye to Hayner, Pence, and Olette, he suddenly starts crying. After Sora leaves, Pence comments that he feels they've met him before. On the train, Sora finds a Crystal Orb in the pouch. At the Old Mansion, the man in the black coat says goodbye to DiZ.

Standing on one of the rooftops in Twilight Town, Axel complains about the new rip in his black coat.
