Story

Kingdom Hearts

In Kingdom Hearts, Jane appears to have come alone with Clayton to the jungle, and has already befriended Tarzan. Jane meets Sora when Tarzan arrives at the camp with him and is rather astonished to see he speaks English. Jane and the others are not pleased with Clayton when he tries to shoot a gorilla. Jane is later captured by Heartless, held hostage at the treehouse while Clayton goes to shoot the gorillas. She is freed and later accompanies Sora, Tarzan, Donald and Goofy to the Cavern of Hearts, deep within the waterfalls, where Sora seals the world's Keyhole. Jane figures out Tarzan's continuous making ape sounds meaning "Heart". What becomes of her and Tarzan after the departure of Sora is unknown but it could be said that their lives became like that of the Disney's show, The Legend of Tarzan despite the fact that Porter and Tantor are absent.

Appearance

Jane has long, dark brown hair, blue eyes, and seems to wear eyeliner and lipstick. Clothing-wise, she wears a long, brown skirt that reaches to just above her ankles. This skirt is held up by a knot tied on her right side, which exposes most of her right leg. Jane also wears a fade, white tank top.

Quotes

  • (upon finding that Sora speaks fluent English) "Oh, you speak English! So obviously, you're not related to Tarzan. Are you here to study the gorillas?"
  • "Mr Clayton, we're studying them, not hunting them! This is research!"
  • "The more the merrier, do make yourselves at home."
  • "How could you do such a thing?"
  • "You are not to go near the gorillas again!"

Trivia

  • Whilst in the English version, Jane says to Sora, "Oh, you speak English!", all other versions of the game feature subtitles saying "Oh, you speak my language".
  • Jane's father, Archimedes Q. Porter, is absent from Deep Jungle and not even mentioned, despite the fact that he accompanied Jane and Clayton to Africa in the original movie.
