I haven't quite got the fine points down, like...when, or where... It just kinda kicks in whenever it wants to.

Template:InfoCharacter Rhyme is a character who appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. She appears in Traverse Town.[1]

Development

Rhyme, along with Neku, Shiki, Joshua, and Beat are the first characters to appear in the Kingdom Hearts series who originated from something other than Disney, Final Fantasy, or Kingdom Hearts fiction, although they are from another game that is property of Square Enix, as well as being designed by Tetsuya Nomura.

Origin

Raimu "Rhyme" Bito is a character from Square Enix's The World Ends with You. Sister to Beat, she is partnered with him during Neku's first week of the Reaper's Game. Her hard-working, level-headed attitude keeps Beat's hotheaded, impulsive attitude in check. Rhyme and Neku's team eventually become friends, and they help each other to complete the daily challenges. Tragically, over the course of the Game, Rhyme takes an attack from a Noise that was meant for Beat, resulting in her erasure. Beat then devotes himself to becoming Shibuya's Composer so that he may bring Rhyme back.

Trivia

  • Rhyme's render mimics her pose in one particular cutscene in The World Ends with You where she and Beat erase a Noise.
