Anyway, here's the big news: we found the creator of their icon-header template. His/her username is User:RelentlessRecusant. I've left a message at his talk page, and I'd like you to see it and add to it, so as to further aid our operation of these templates.

The Worlds template can only be changed by Admins so could you add Kingdom Hearts (world) to it? Also where should I put the Door to Darkness page? It could be added to either Kingdom Hearts (world) or the new Universe of Kingdom Hearts page which I hope you take a look at and see if I need to do anything else. I also need someone who can read Japanese to look at Piano Collections Kingdom Hearts Vol. 2 and translate the image just so I'm sure as to what the actual CD is called. I don't think it will be Piano Collections Kingdom Hearts Vol. 2 Thank you!

I'd say the max warnings we give is upped to 5. If this is ok'd, please create the pages, give me links via my talk page, place existing templates on the page for me to edit, etc. Or, could you perhaps take some from my Sandbox and make them a Warning 4 and Warning 5? It appears we're going soft on IP's and such, so I like that idea, better. Thanks.

English 358/2 Days Heartless Names Update

TALK - 10:17, September 27, 2009 (UTC) ENX would like you to go onto his user page and look at his English Days Gameplay Section. They apparently contain many videos with Heartless names, English cutscene quotes, item names, world objectives etc. He said that you wanted to redirect heartless pages that are named poorly and that looking at these videos would be helpful for you. Also ENX wants to know if he can help you with the whole editing 358/2 thing. He says he knows that you wanted to it mainly yourself for you birthday (which may I say Congrats to) but he'd like to know if you would like him to help you out. You'd do most of the work apparently. He says he's got videos, cutscenes etc that you can redirect, render whatever that he can upload if you want him to that contain more information on English 358/2 days names. That's about it, could you reply on ENX's page as he says he's too busy to check your page if you will accept his offer or not. P.S. I have absolutely no idea why I had to wrote this for him, I guess if someone needs help I'd help them out :P and anyway it's one more edit for my ol' user posts. Take care and Happy Birthday.

TALK - By the way, I've got the finished Weapon template up, and it's in action at Kingdom Key. Don't pay so much attention to the Kingdom Key box, look at + or ++ (the secret character's main weapons are going to be a mess like that, with multiple stats), but that was the hardest one, so it's smoother sailing from here.

The first is this image: The second is this image of a piece of paper that might reveal if Kingdom Hearts coded comes to America. I don't know if you have seen this or not, but I don't know if it's a fake and I just wondered if it was translated correctly. [1]

Well, there are 2 (maybe more) ways to check if the guide is wrong. One is checking the game after consulting the guide, the other is checking the guide after consulting the game. Both have their pros and cons. As far as stats are concerned, they are pure numbers, you write what you see, there can be no misinterpretations. You don't need to read all this, but personally I think you would save time after all..

Well it is a wiki, and it is for information, so if you do not want battle quotes, then what is even the point of having a Battle Quotes heading? It is not like I added false information, and why shouldn't I re-add it? It is true, I have the game, beaten it, and at least I made sure that the information I added was accurate. If you are trying to get rid of "white space", then get rid of the Battle quotes section in all. What is the point of having a section that is just "white space" and adding any information to it is still "white space". So if you could please explain to me, why are you even trying to get rid of information that some may find interesting? I enjoy looking at the battle quotes, so is it really that wrong to add to the information that is already here? I did not spam, nor did I post anything that is false. So if you do not want people adding "white space" then get rid of battle quotes since the quotes that I posted are obviously useless. It would keep people from being misled as it did for me.

Gear Lists

ok, i gotta ask, since i made the changes and put the argument in the talk page, what is the purpose of leaving the lists of gears on Panel System and Gear to include the sizes and "+"'s instead of just listing those on their individual pages? it just clutters the list and doesn't help in any way. also, while redirecting all those gear varieties is all well and good, wouldn't it be better to not have to, i.e. to have them all set to the same link (i.e. Technical Gear ③, Technical Gear+ ③ both link directly to Technical Gear instead of each having it's own redirect)? --Neumannz 22:25, October 14, 2009 (UTC)

1. Any official term that appears in the games should be searchable here. There is no guarantee that every reader of this wiki is a KH expert (in fact, it's very unlikely).
2. Those two articles are not summaries, they are lists. Of every gear. For example, what if someone for some reason wants to know how many different types of panels there are? (Maybe they are trying to see if they have the same count in their game) Truncating the list because of similar entries would screw them up, and it's a less elegant solution to say "Just go to every page linked here and see if there are multiple versions listed".Glorious CHAOS! 22:29, October 14, 2009 (UTC)

"Please do not upload images which are not produced by Square Enix or Disney, or are irrelevant to the project" does not trump "If you wish to upload your own fanart, you MUST assert that you drew it. Just keep it out of the mainspace", because the latter one is not a default. The default version has no restrictions at all; it merely says "Use this form to upload files". Furthermore, none of the restrictions are a matter of consensus, as only admins can alter them. For reference, if you think it should be changed, then an admin needs to edit MediaWiki:Uploadtext. Until such an edit is made, I retain the right to upload fanart under the condition I quoted previously, because said condition remains in writing as part of the wiki's policy on uploads until an edit is made to make it say otherwise. P.S. Why is KHwiki so tetchy about this? I've never yet known any other wiki, e.g. FFwiki, to be anti-fanart-upload. Category: I rest my case

I somewhat object to punishing innocents like myself by banning fanart uploads outright just because of a few jerks – especially since the jerks can still externally host their fanart and then link to it, so you still can't prevent it from being put in the mainspace by just forbidding it. Nonetheless, I accept it now that the text has been altered. I will happily allow my other fanart sprite scenes to be deleted too, as I am now externally hosting them. Just out of interest, how did you fail to notice and delete the other five?

Why is time being wasted on this? This is a wiki. About a video game. Why do we have people arguing about details with the furor of scholars who found a missing fragment of the Dead Sea Scrolls? Why are there people arguing about maturity and reliability while at the same time keeping the drama going because they have to get the last word in?

Why the heck do you change my edit on List of known Keyblade Wielders? I mean why did you put Sora's Keyblade picture in Riku's page it doesn't make sense? What I edit on that page actually make sense. Cococrash11

Please read the talk page. The captions you added were not in line with what we're trying to do with that page, and you removed some construction notes before they had been accomplished.

• Sora's gallery was supposed to include every keychain, not just Kingdom Key and Way to the Dawn
• "Riku was the orginal owner of this Keyblade" is just stupid, and the intent of those notes is to show all Keychains and Keyblades a wielder has used - "x's x-blade" is used when they wielded someone else's Keyblade. Therefore, you wouldn't say "Riku's Keyblade" in Riku's gallery - you'd just say "Way to the Dawn".
• Same with the "Roxas's" stuff. Those Keyblades already belong to him.

AGAIN: the purpose of saying "x's x-blade" is to differentiate those times that they are wielding someone else's Keyblade. For example, Riku can equip the Oblivion in 358/2 Days, but it is not his Keyblade - the "x's" serves to note that. By placing them absolutely everywhere, you negate the purpose of that, and make it so it's just adding text.

The information is taken DIRECTLY from another person's gamefaqs guide to the game. I think that this is against Wiki-policy, and could be rather serious. That's why his/her articles start out with several parts in <pre></pre> boxes, and not Wiki-formatted. Mission Titles

Are you really that serious about capatilization in the mission article titles? I understand that in the game the name is not capitalzed, since it's more of a description than a name, and I don't care what you have written in the body of the article, but at least in the context of article titles, it seems much more appropriate to have it capitalized. --Neumannz 21:38, December 7, 2009 (UTC)

Hello. Regarding the "rule" of talk pages, I have a question. A seemingly well-informed user of the chat room told me that I could create a Rules section on my talk page. Whether or not they break the rules, removing comments from talk pages is bad wikiconduct. If someone breaks the rules (as to manners, vulgarity etc.), don't take the law into your own hands. I was not aware that you could make your own rules - the most I've seen is requests that commentators do not use vulgarity. When I warned him that he was violating the MoS, as well as wiki-conduct, he tried to mock me too. His edits show that he next vandalized Lea's page (some nonsense about saiyans), and then tried to rickroll the Ventus page. While it may turn out that he was correct about the Sanskrit/Arabic bit being better for trivia, the approach he used was totally obstructive, and he was outright vandalizing for his last few edits. There's only so much leeway an admin can give.

I never filled in the drop rate of synthesis items in any infobox. I do understand that you need the guide to know those exact numbers. Here's what I'm trying to say to you:

First and foremost, turn off your Rich Text Editor in your preferences.

Look at Range Tech, or, look at Blazing. That is what the sections should look like. Alphabetical, with percentages, and the missions listed as refs. The only way to get all of this info is to use the guide - without it, you're just throwing names up there that I'll have to reformat, check, and correct. Universal Weapon Template

You know how I said about having a universal tab-based template box for all weapons to prevent clutter? Well, it's basically kinda like that! A few kinks need to be worked out, like the width, but that was what I was thinking. It's better to have it all in one infobox, then access the data via tabs than having two separate ones.

At least for Accessories (see Ribbon, Dark Ring), I simply mentioned the change in the lead. If we want to do something different, that can be brought up in the forum as well.

When I read that passage in the interview with Nomura, I can't help but think everyone's misunderstanding it. This is based off of what I know and have seen of translations from Japanese to English, but I think what he said could just as easily be interpreted as "there is no particular explanation for the Soul Eater's transfer and occurrence [into Way to the Dawn], as well as Riku's handing [Kairi's Keyblade] to Kairi", by which i mean that the two parts of the sentence are not necessarily related to each other. Obviously, we can't really check it unless you can get the interview in japanese and someone who's fluent in it, but I thought I'd mention my issue with what's on the relevent pages. Really it all seems to me like too much of a stretch to say Riku has Synch Blade and he gave Kairi his second Keyblade; I'd much rather chalk to up to it being another mystery of Keyblades which may/may not be explained later...

KrytenKoro - Click TALK - There's two points going against this. First, while it's true that Japanese grammar omits the subject of a sentence more often than English, it still provides the subject when it is introduced or changed; two sentences with different subjects would not both omit the subject. Secondly, Riku quite explicitly handed the Keyblade to Kairi - it did not appear to her like it did for Sora or Roxas. Furthermore, the only other situations in which one wielder hands a Keyblade to another, it is always his own Keyblade - both with Roxas > Riku, and Riku > Sora. There is certainly the possibility that Nomura is being misunderstood, but given what he said, and given what we saw, the only responsible conclusion to draw is that the Kairi Keyblade is still Riku's.

Keyblade sprites

Oblivion and Oathkeeper only look nice and big and detailed because the game resizes them to normal Keyblade size or something...You'll notice the rest of the Keyblade sprites are similarly sized. Anyone who reads KHInsider's forums is now spoiled, and will likely spam these pages, considering Master Xehanort's and Terra's pages are now locked. Also, I think it best to lock each of the pages relevant to BBS, because as gameplay appears online, people will wish to spam the other pages, as well as the main ones. Was this the case as Days became watchable on YouTube? Any issues regarding its Japanese release are unknown to me, as this was before I joined.

The only thing I could think of is revealing the ultimate fate of a character, but is it bad if we edit an article to show that a new appearance for a character in-game has been confirmed? If new images have been discovered, such as new weapons or whatever, can those be uploaded and added to the Terra, Ven, and Aqua's Keyblades page in a gallery? I guess information based on screenshots are okay, but I'd personally prefer that we do not add story information until it can be properly summarized (i.e., not just blurbs based on snapshots). However, as long as you add a spoiler warning, it should be fine.

I understand Terra and other major characters can't be touched, but for the lessers like the Disney characters... What about them? TALK - So long as you use spoiler warnings, and you can add the information within context, it should be fine. The only thing that I would say would be unhelpful is to try and make up the story from screenshots, or not using spoiler warnings. Basically, the stuff where someone looks at few screenshots, and then writes the story section as "X goes to this place and does this, and says this, then goes here and does that and says that." If you can't write (or at least start) the story section like Aladdin's is written, then there's no real point.

You obviously have no sense of fairplay. Going and deleting my posts without checking with me? I understand the Storyline thread, but other posts? You really just don't get discussion. People talk about what they see and read, and you come along and delete them. It's not 'spamming', it's you being a controlling asshole, because you think you're so much better than the rest of us. People contribute, and you come along and edit things out unncessarily, without consultation. You need to find a new hobby if that's all you care about, and you fail to understand community. Lay off, or you'll make an enemy out of me.

I did find one message that I had accidentally reverted, so I readded it. The fact remains, though, that this is an encyclopedia, not a forum. The admins have no obligation to leave non-wiki discussion on the talk pages, especially if it appears to be malicious.

I actually would prefer that we leave the spoilers off of the articles, in the way that you have done by locking the related articles. The spread of spoilers is already causing issues on the IRC Channel, and I'd rather not have those same issues brought to the wiki. Plus, several users wish to remain unspoiled, myself included. Keyblade names

Here's your source.

It only shows the names of Ventus's and Terra's Keyblades at 5:10:20 pm Jan 8 2010 (Ventus) and 9:31:45 pm Jan 8 2010 (Terra). To navigate the times, press the left and right arrow buttons next to the slowly filling blue bar. It's an archive of a live-stream, so make sure you select "Jan 8th 2010" before navigating.

I also once saw the name of Aqua's Keyblade, Rainfall (レインフォール, Reinfōru) during a live-stream, but there is currently no other video source for that.

Also, the reason these Keyblades look different from the Keyblades in the secret ending is because they ARE different. I only know the name of Terra's, though: Gaia Bane (ガイアベイン, Gaia Bein). Verify for yourself at this video at around 4:20. Expect more Keyblade pages to come in sooner or later because of this.

I know there is a forum for this regarding the BBS info, but this would be a far less generic session of Q and A. I know the site notice says "No Spoilers Regarding Storyline", but DTN has said to me countless times NO SPOILERS AT ALL IN ANY BBS-RELATED FIELD. Who/What do I listen to? I see no harm in creating boss pages, considering I know how/where/when the characters fight and such, so why not? I mean, Spoiler Templates would have to be placed considering you have to state where someone is fought. I also am curious about creating new BBS-related articles, such as weapons. I understand this is in dispute, considering the fact that these articles will have to be moved with English translation. Were these pages to be created, they would need the Spoiler Template placed, as they do need a small piece of storyline information to better describe the article. Basically, here's a list of articles I'd like to create at the moment : Vanitas (Boss) Magic Mirror (Boss) Experiment 221 (Boss) Braig (Boss) I also was to update Maleficent (Dragon) with the BBS information on the boss fight only... Kingdom Key image?
