Die Form is a form of Sora's in Kingdom Hearts II. Sora can be transformed into a six-sided die, similar to his Card Form, during his fight with Luxord. Sora can also enter Die Form when losing at a game against Gambler Nobody. Since the only recognizable part of Sora when he is in Die Form is his face, his crown pendant is not visible.

During this time, he hops around as a die, and can only attack and move by rolling. However, the player can increase the damage of their attack in Die Form by jumping unto enemies. The Drive Gauge is changed to a special form bar and will begin to count down as to how long Sora has left as a die. However, since the only way to move is by attacking, and certain abilities force Sora to stay in a form until he finishes a combo, constantly trying to escape while losing track of the Drive Gauge could cause Sora to stay in Die Form for much longer than usual.

Notes and References

  • If Drive Gauge is disabled, Sora will be transformed into Die Form for less than a second and then will revert back to his normal form.
  • If Sora is already in another Form, after the Drive Gauge corresponding to Die Form becomes empty, Sora will be back in his previous form, with a completely replenished Drive Gauge.
  • Any summoned character can prevent Sora from being transformed by the Gambler.
