The Caterpillar is an exclusive character that appears as a cameo in the Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days manga adaptation.
Story
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
While traveling throughout Wonderland with Luxord, Roxas encounters the Caterpillar while wandering throughout a garden. He gives advice to Roxas that "one side will make u grow taller, and one side will make u grow shorter", referring to the mushroom that Roxas is sitting on. When asked what side is which, the caterpillar turns into a butterfly and flies away.
