Template:InfoCharacter Prince Phillip is an upcoming ally in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep in Enchanted Dominion. Betrothed to Princess Aurora upon her birth in the correspoding Disney movie, Sleeping Beauty, he will be an ally to Aqua when she visits Enchanted Dominion.
Story
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
Prince Philip finds himself on a mission to save his betrothed, Princess Aurora, from Maleficent's clutches and the curse that places her in eternal slumber. He finds himself teamed up with Aqua, battling the dark fairy in the form of a monstrous dragon with the Keyblade wielder outside of King Stephen's castle, as he did with the Three Good Fairies in the Disney film.
Origin
Attending Princess Aurora's birth ceremony, Prince Philip was to be her husband. Once the girl took on the alias of Briar Rose and lived as a peasant woman in the forest, however, the two met for the first time in 16 years. They grew fond of each other, Philip wishing to see Aurora once more. They arrange a meeting at the girl's cottage, Philip meeting a trap set by Maleficent instead. The noble prince held captive by the witch, he escapes via Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. Destroying the vengeful witch in her dragon form with the Sword of Truth, he broke the curse set on Aurora, marrying his princess at last.
Abilities
While currently unknown how Philip with battle, he is shown in recent scans to be interactive during the Maleficent (Dragon) boss battle. It is revealed that only by pressing the O button can Aqua leap onto the Dragon's back to deal damage.
