Master Xehanort's Keyblade (マスター・ゼアノートのキーブレード Masutā Zeanōto no Kīburēdo) is the the default form of Master Xehanort's Keyblade, which is also used by his reincarnation Terra-Xehanort and his data copy No Heart, and appears in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.
Although Master Xehanort does not often draw his Keyblade, whenever he does fight he wields his Keyblade in this form, even after becoming Terra-Xehanort. Xehanort often uses this Keyblade to channel his own dark magic, but as a Keyblade, the weapon itself also possesses the ability to lock and unlock hearts. Master Xehanort once used this ability to extract the dark half of Ventus's heart from his body, creating Vanitas, and then again during the final battle at the Keyblade Graveyard, in order to extract his own heart and allow him to take over Terra's body and become Terra-Xehanort. However, during his battle with Aqua, Terra's heart begins throwing off Master Xehanort's control, forcing him to use his Keyblade on their shared body to seal away their hearts, also causing them to lose the Keyblade.[1] After this, Master Xehanort's Keyblade vanishes, though Terra-Xehanort regains it later, when he uses it to extract Braig's heart from his body and transforms him into Xigbar. Following his revival, Master Xehanort continues to wield this Keyblade, attempting to use it to place a fragment of his heart inside Sora's comatose body.
During the short time Master Xehanort possesses the body of his younger incarnation, he wields his Keyblade with a different Keychain.
