Featured Users is a place to recognize the hard-working editors that make this wiki such a wonderful place. The rules and guidelines are a work-in-progress; if you have suggestions, please leave them on the Talk Page.

Nomination Guidelines

So, what makes a user eligible for nomination? Here are the guidelines:

• The user should be obviously hard-working. Any sort of edits, from spelling corrections to full page rewrites are acceptable, as long as the user makes quality edits.
• The user should not vandalize, or maliciously violate the policies of this wiki. You don't have to be perfect to be nominated, but any unhappiness you may have shouldn't disrupt the voting process.
• Nominations should put emphasis on the user's edits for the last month. While a user's lifetime edits should certainly be taken into account, it should be possible for a hard-working "newbie" to be the Featured User, if they outshine other editors in that month.
• Any editor who was nominated one month prior to this voting session is ineligible to be nominated this month.
• Any editor who currently holds a staff position is ineligible for this award.
• It's probably a good idea to be an editor of this wiki.

Nomination Process

So, there's an editor you think should be recognized. How do you make it happen?

For the first 21 days of a month, just post the name of the user, and sign under your nomination with your signature. If someone has already nominated the user you support, just second their nomination using the # symbol. To find a user's contributions, along with a complete breakdown of the namespaces that they have contributed to, simply enter their name into the edit count page.

On the first of the following month, the winner will receive a Featured User medal, which can be displayed on their user page, and the winner will be showcased on the wiki's front page along with a commemorative, custom description of the winner.

To keep any one person from sweeping the awards, any editor can only win once. Furthermore, to prevent sockpuppeting and other forms of cheating, only registered users may vote. If it is discovered that someone is being a poor sport and attempting to sockpuppet, their votes for the current election, as well as the next two, will be negated.

Voting

Each registered editor can make one nomination or seconding; they must put their vote and signature, (~~~~) underneath the nominee of their choice. If you want to explain what it is about the user that makes you agree with the nomination, just add a comment as if you were posting on a talk page. Please don't vote for yourself.

• Chitalian - The newest and most prolific gnome on the wiki. He has made countless contributions and has grown immensly since he began working here. A great friend and editor, I nominate Chitalian8! KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON. 22:49, January 31, 2011 (UTC)

• The Inexistent – The_Inexistent is still relatively new to the Wiki, not having even been here a full year, but has quickly become a very reliable editor. He has contributed greatly to the Days Weapon articles, done gnome work, and, of course, writes the description of the Featured User. But the thing that I feel most makes him worthy of this is the inspiring way he changed in the time he's been here. He was rather argumentative and even threatening when he first came here, but quickly became a shining example of why we should always give users another chance. So, to wrap up this paragraph, I nominate Light, Darkness, and What Lies Inbetween, The_Inexistent, as March's featured user.LapisLazuliScarab07:08, February 1, 2011 (UTC)

He has been really helpfull, even without editing in the main space, he is the one who welcome new user and help them understand the mechanics and coding of the wikia, and those user later become a part of the main space, even if he isn't. 4. Roxas definitly deserves my vote. He has helped me countless times with images, Talk Bubbles, even general info about the wiki. So what if he dosen't edit the mainspace? Everything else he does, definitly makes up for it.Darkheart3

• SilverCrono - He definitely deserves this trophy. Silver has over two-thousand edits and constantly edits the wiki. He undo's vandal edits and knows the do's and don'ts of Wikia. He's contributed on important matters, and always knows what goes on the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. Vote for SilverCrono! [Ѧüя◎ґ]

4. Even though Roxas manages to help others, he's not helping THE wiki himself. SilverCrono however has an equal amount of Talk and Mainspace edits. My vote goes to SilverCrono! And as the guidlines state "The user should be obviously hard-working. Any sort of edits, from spelling corrections to full page rewrites are acceptable, as long as the user makes quality edits. • Soxra - A rather new editor here. He is a whiz at coding and image editing, and he h asrecentlym done a ton of work, by going through all of the commands and bringing them to match the template. • Erry - Great guy and friend in general, quite the expert in photoshop, and he contributed a bunch of great ripped images like treasure chests. • LevL - An all-around good editor and Wiki Gryphon that has received a staff nomination multiple times. He's a good vandal fighter, does gnome work, and is a extremely helpful toward new users.
