Destiny Place (デスティニープレイス Desutinī Pureisu?) is a Keyblade which appears in Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. It was given to Kairi by Riku in The World That Never Was in order to fight a swarm of Heartless attacking Sora. Like Sora's Keyblade, this Keyblade is from the Realm of Light, and while there are certain unknown reasons as to why Kairi was able to wield it, it is known that it is in part due to the strength of her heart.[1]

Destiny Place is only seen in one scene in Kingdom Hearts II, but in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, when Kairi meets Aqua she gives flowers to her, unlocking the Keyblade for Aqua.

Design

The Keyblade is round and curvaceous to the point of appearing non-dangerous. One side of the hilt is formed in the shape of a breaking ocean wave, while the other is formed into a beige vine of sand which wraps around the sunset shaft to burst forth into a bouquet of flowers for the teeth in resemblance thier home world, Destiny Islands. A red silken keychain connects the hilt to the Paopu Fruit token, a recurring symbol of the bond between Sora and Kairi.
