The Bond of Flame is a Keychain for Sora's Keyblade that was introduced in Kingdom Hearts II. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, it can be upgraded to the Bond of Flame+.
Design[edit]
The Keychain, teeth, and blade resembles Axel's Eternal Flames chakrams. When it is swung, tiny chakrams and flames appear. The two chakrams that make up the Keyblade are joined by a metal numeral 8 and they also have eight total spikes, a reference to Axel's position within the Organization.
The Keyblade's name references the friendship between Roxas and Axel, and later the debt Axel owed to Sora.
Gameplay[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts II, Bond of Flame is a Keyblade with balanced stats in strength and magic. Its ability, Fire Boost, increases the damage delivered with Fire-based attacks.
