Ven's Keyblade belongs to Ventus, one of the central protagonists in the upcoming prequel: Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.
It is a notably peculiar Keyblade, with a handle that is to one side, rather than in the center. The teeth are more "mechanical", resembling the teeth of Two Become One, whereas the handle resembles that of the Kingdom Key, therefore creating yet more connections between Ventus, Sora, and Roxas. Ven usually wields his Keyblade left-handed, but he can also wield it with his right hand, making him ambidextrous, a trait he shares with Roxas. Unlike most Keyblades, this weapon is wielded teeth-forward and shaft-backward.
Like Terra and Aqua's Keyblades, it was thought to have lacked a keychain and was rumored to be a "false" Keyblade. However, recent images have shown a keychain attached to the hilt. It is shown when Ventus is wearing his armour in Deep Space he use his Keyblade to ride in space.
