Unbound (オーバードライブ Ōbādoraibu, lit. "Overdrive") is a Keychain for Sora's and Riku's Keyblades which appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It is obtained after clearing each "secret portal" for the respective character.
Design
Strategy
In terms physical damage, Unbound is the most powerful Keyblade in the game, surpassing the Ultima Weapon - while Ultima Weapon has 16 Strength, Unbound has 18. Unbound also has a higher chance of landing critical hits and Reality Shifts than the Ultim Weapon. However, in terms of magic power and balance, Ultima is the best Keyblade, as it is tied with End of Pain as the most magically powerful Keyblade and the weapon with the second highest strength rating. So if you want the best offensive power with good magic, go with the Unbound.
