The Star Seeker (スターシーカー Sutā Shīkā) is the first Keyblade that Sora obtains in Kingdom Hearts II after his original Keyblade, the Kingdom Key. Sora obtains it after his new clothes are created by Flora, Fauna and Merryweather, and he is given the ability (by using a drive form) to wield two Keyblades at once.
The Star Seeker is not initially an equipable item, since it is originally Sora's sub-weapon for Valor form. It cannot be equipped as Sora's primary weapon until the Hidden Dragon is obtained (or Hero's Crest if the heroes travel from Twilight Town to Beast's Castle and then to Olympus Coliseum).
It is implied that the Star Seeker is the Keyblade that King Mickey used while he was apprenticed to Yen Sid. he uses it in Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, and it is one of his weapons in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

Acquisition
The Star Seeker is part of a group of weapons associated with Yen Sid's tower, along with the corresponding staff (the Comet Staff) and shield (The Falling Star). These weapons are decorated with crescent moons and stars, and are the second weapons available to the party.
Star Seeker also make a reference to the worlds in the universe of Kingdom Hearts, since stars refer to the worlds. It is given to Sora early in Kingdom Hearts II to indicate the start of his travels through the worlds. Also, it reinforces that Mickey is in the beginning of his travels in the secret video in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix.
In Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories, the Star Seeker can be obtained in the 13th floor (Castle Oblivion) using a Key to Rewards card - that too, as a Reverse/Rebirth Completion Bonus (or a Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ completion bonus in the Japanese version of Re:Chain of Memories).
In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, the Star Seeker appears as a weapon for the secret character King Mickey. To wield the Keyblade, he must have the Pandora Gear attached.
Appearance
The guard appears to be two shooting stars. The blade is blue and decorated with stars, while the end is a crescent moon and star. The key chain design is a crescent moon.
Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
In the secret ending movie of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, King Mickey is briefly shown, wearing a different outfit than usual and wielding the Star Seeker. The shot is brief, and no context is given, nor an explanation of the shot's relation to the battle that occurs earlier in the video. Some fans have speculated that the shot of Mickey shows him during his apprenticeship to Yen Sid, since the Keyblade he wields is associated with the sorcerer.
