Shouldn't this be a page? I though Nomura confirmed that KH3 is going to be developed but not in the near future. Erry 20:23, 8 October 2011 (UTC)

That's what I thought AFTER posting here. But nevertheless it should be a page after KH3D releases (expect this page to be a year old <_< Stupid Nomura releasing Japanese before English.) Erry 21:57, 8 October 2011 (UTC)

KINGDOM HEARTS III features a mature Sora as the main protagonist who sets forth on an adventure with Mickey, Donald and Goofy through new and legendary Disney worlds.

From the official KH facebook, enough to start covering on individual pages."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 00:27, 14 June 2013 (UTC)

Looks like Sora can now transform his Keyblade, and we may get PlayStation Network connection (at least for the PS4 version). His official render for the game shows him in his KHII attire; there is still a chance he'll get a new outfit, but we will wait and see. I just hope this game and FFXV will be great!

Trailer[edit]

How do we know that the "Pirate Ship" is actually a summon? It doesn't look much like a summon to me: when I first saw it I thought it was an area or world. TheFifteenthMember 12:30, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

There is a blue bar that decreases in the bottom left corner. Erry 12:38, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
If you look closely, you can tell they are still in Tram Common. I'm not sure I would call it a summon, though. That's like saying that ThunderBolt in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is a summon because it has a gauge, too. I would just leave it as a "command-style-like" attack, even state it as "summon-like attack", but not straight-out declare it as a summon. Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.pngKeybladeSpyMaster Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.png02:59, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
See, the issue with your argument is that it can be refuted as a command style just gives extra additions to normal combat and doesn't outright replace your commands with others as such with summons or summon-like systems. Plus in command styles, when you attack, the gauge increase, in the trailer, it does not. Erry 09:13, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
Although I do agree with saying something like 'resembling a summon'. TheFifteenthMember 15:53, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.png Regarding Xion4ever's comment on the page, the ride is not officially identified as any, though Tetsuya Nomura noted that the ride is a demonstration of Attraction Flow, an evolution of Flowmotion from Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance]. Attraction Flow, according to Nomura, is inspired by Disney attractions. Though not official, the people at Kingdom Hearts Insider have identified the ride as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (which appears to be from DisneyWorld). So no, there is not official identification of the rides presented. But officially, it's inspired by the rides at the Disney Parks, and with that knowledge, the best guess at the ride's inspiration source is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Story restructuring per trailer[edit]

Okay, so we all know that trailers can't be used to inform the plot synopses. However, stuff like Xehanort appearing in LoD at an apparently younger age than he was at DI when his Heartless came to him leads us to at least some plot restructuring. I'm not sure if we've discussed this before, so I'm thinking:

  1. If our current plot synopses appear to contradict what the trailers seem to indicate, examine them to ensure that any assumptions they make are directly supported by the canon. For example, if KH3D doesn't say that Xehanort hadn't left his home before his Heartless came, then we shouldn't either.
  2. I feel like we should have some sort of Ansem's Computer sandbox for plot/topic write-ups that can't yet be posted to the mainspace due to their finalized canonicity being in flux. That way, people can add information about the stuff that's hyping them, but we're not getting into another 2.5-Taunt or Days-Wind Maker scenario.

Thoughts?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:29, 16 June 2015 (UTC)

Definitely let's do a forum. Maybe even two, one in Ansem's Computer for write-ups, and a more free-form one (Twilight Town Library? World that Never Was?) for general notes and observations. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 20:45, 16 June 2015 (UTC)

I'm fine with that, too. We're going to have to add the info sooner or later, so a rough draft/write-ups are a good idea. That anonymous user you messaged earlier today was restructuring the story with info from the trailer again on other articles, and I'm pretty sure others will attempt to do the same thing in the following days. I wish fans can understand that we want to add these info, too, but because of past experiences (BBS), we've learned our lesson about adding info based on trailers alone. We might need to resort on protecting pages, too. I don't think that'll happen, but just throwing that out there.--NinjaSheik 03:54, 17 June 2015 (UTC)

A site notice would be a good idea, too. Something like "As Kingdom Hearts III is still unreleased, it is not yet considered valid for inclusion in the main articles. Please add any suggested improvements based on the released promotional material to XXXX.""We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:50, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, that'd be good, but whether people choose to read and listen to that notice isn't guarantee. People outside the wiki think we're stuck-up idiots and/or being paranoid for doing stuff like this, so they just disregard us. That anonymous user, for example. Well, I'm all for it, anyway! :) If worst comes to shove, we can protect the pages.--NinjaSheik 20:03, 17 June 2015 (UTC)

Big Hero 6 World Stuff[edit]

Just so we have it on record, it was stated at D23 that the world's story will take place after the events of the film. The Heartless gain control over the Baymax that Hiro leaves behind in the portal; Sora rides the new Baymax and faces him above San Fransokyo, according to the following concept art:

KHIII keyblades pages[edit]

So, should we have a page for some of the new, as yet unnamed keyblades that we've seen in the trailers? After all, we have a page for Lea's Keyblade and the Combined Keyblade, though both are unnamed and little is written in either page.Deu6machina (talk) 21:24, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

Unless we have more information beyond the design and the fact that they are unnamed, I doubt we'd be allowed to do so without getting egg on our faces. TRSNX 22:02, 2 October 2015 (UTC)
We have seen the full transformation attack for Sora's new keyblade as well as the new Olympus (presumably) keyblade. I'd say that that, plus design and out of universe history (i.e. when they were revealed) is enough for a short article.Deu6machina (talk) 22:21, 2 October 2015 (UTC)
It would be a short article indeed. We'd barely be able to eke out a sentence, I think we can wait. Images are good, though. Chitalian8 02:21, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
We are waiting with creating articles about KHIII things until we actually know things about them (And we don't count trailers as reliable sources). But if you want to, you can create a draft for the pages in your userspace, and we can move them to mainspace later. TheSilentHero 09:38, 3 October 2015 (UTC)

Gigas[edit]

So, in the new trailer, there's a banner in the Galaxy Toys with a picture of one of the rideable robots, and it has the name Gigas. At 4:17, there's an entire section on the store dedicated to him, and with his name written in big letters, and at 4:45 you can see the banner for some seconds. So, the blue robot is named Gigas. Is that enough to start an article? Anime... PAAWAA!!! 16:08, 16 July 2017 (UTC)

Gonna go ahead and say no because we really don't know that much about it to the point where there's not enough info to warrant an article. Maybe a brief mention on the game page for now. Chitalian8 17:13, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
It's not mentioned by the authors, so it's possible that it is a visual background effect that will be refined."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 22:24, 16 July 2017 (UTC)

San Fransokyo and new world[edit]

Nomura confirmed the BH6 world is called San Fransokyo and the world where Eraqus and Xehanort are talking is not Departure Land but a new world.
Here the confirmation.
-Not Departure Land: Here the refered part:
The world where Young Eraqus and Xehanort is an original world. Also he mentions that KH3 will have less Disney worlds than KH2 in numbers, but they will be richer and more playable.

Scource: http://kh13.com/#ixzz4nI4cQPVG

-San Fransokyo: https://www.khinsider.com/kingdom-hearts-3/frequently-asked-questions
So far Mysterious Tower, Twilight Town, and Olympus Colisum are set to return, with the latter expanded out of the coliseum and into Mount Olympus. New worlds to the series include the Kingdom of Corona (Tangled), San Fransokyo (Big Hero 6), and a world based on Toy Story!--93.150.193.86 15:14, 19 July 2017 (UTC)

Well, it does seem like Tetsuya Nomura did confirm that Land of Departure is not the world Xehanort and Eraqus are in in that earlier trailer. However, KHInsider's own FAQ page isn't an official source for Kingdom Hearts news, so that source doesn't count for citing anything here. We only take in official materials such as interviews, trailers, and information straight from Square Enix. I would like to see the original Japanese for the line calling it "an original world", because that could be interpreted as "new to KH3" or "not a Disney or FF world"."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:55, 19 July 2017 (UTC)
Nevermind, I read the interview and they explicitly ask if it's "new", so yeah. "Unnamed World" it is, with a cite to the interview.73.102.84.240 17:37, 23 July 2017 (UTC)

Videos[edit]

At what point do we generally split videos into their own page? I'm thinking we're at that point with this article. Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.pngKeybladeSpyMaster Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.png 00:51, 11 February 2018 (UTC)

Do we have any pages about trailers? I don't think we would make a separate page, we would just remove the videos from the page when it gets too many. SeanWheeler (talk) 20:16, 11 February 2018 (UTC)
I think he's referring to Videospace pages (e.g. Video:Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance). I'm of the opinion that either we wait until the game is released to do it, or if we don't care about waiting that long then just spinning the videos off to a new page right now. Chitalian8 20:27, 11 February 2018 (UTC)

Videos are normally kept until the game released, once the game is out, the trailers are move to the Video:Kingdom Hearts III namespace UnknownCheisā —— Is the fish dead? 20:29, 11 February 2018 (UTC)

Only five titles in the video namespace? I'd say we create the Video:Kingdom Hearts III page now and find trailers for the other games so that they can get video pages. Otherwise, it just looks like a waste of a namespace. SeanWheeler (talk) 22:41, 11 February 2018 (UTC)

"Aliens" name[edit]

the name of the Toy Story aliens isn't "aliens". most merchandise, as well as the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command cartoon, point to their names being the "Little Green Men" some sources/examples: 4135cb3f6cc5cb1c74b56743c6ac3eda.jpg https://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTE1NlgxMjQw/z/Zh0AAOSwC~dZvaVh/$_58.JPG Coverstory_08.png—Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.154.113.237 (talkcontribs)

Thanks for pointing that out. Typically, they also known as "Squeeze Toy Aliens", but perhaps "Little Green Men" would be better since that's what they're know in the cartoon series and is the name most fans would be familiar with.--NinjaSheik 22:56, 11 February 2018 (UTC)

Aliens, Little Green Men, Squeeze Toy Aliens, it probably wouldn't matter until we read about them in Jiminy's Journal when Kingdom Hearts III is released. SeanWheeler (talk) 04:36, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
True, but it's simply a placeholder for now. Might as well use the official terms for them in the meantime.--NinjaSheik 23:18, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
Yeah. We can call them that in the page if we want. Some people might think of the Army Men as "little green men" but that phrase was almost always a reference to aliens. SeanWheeler (talk) 01:05, 13 February 2018 (UTC)

KH3 Premiere Event[edit]

A lot of new stuff revealed today.

  • Toy Story world called "Toy Box".
  • Wreck-it-Ralph as a Link Summon.
  • Ever After, Infinity Badge and Smile Gear are the official names for the Tangled, Toy Story and Monsters Inc. Keyblades.
  • Link Summon Attacks are Lagoon Showtime for Ariel and 8-Bit Blast for Wreck-it Ralph. Kingdom210 (talk) 18:53, 22 May 2018 (UTC)
In the leaked cut scenes, the little green men are referred to as the Aliens. There's no other current publicly-known reference to them. Hamm and Rex are explicitly referred to by those names in the cut scenes, too. Olympus Coliseum is currently referred to simply as Olympus, and the mini games in the Famitsu interview are collectively referred to as CLASSIC KINGDOM (currently all caps). Took care of linking the videos, but they still need their summaries. In regards to all these screenshots, mainly cutscenes, I'm not opposed to uploading them now, but that will create additional renaming work later. They could live in the unused images category or in the mainspace galleries. Proper name would be "File:Content E3 2018 Trailer ##.png?" Thoughts on that? EDIT: Also, keep in mind that images taken from official websites will have watermarks, which is against our image policy. Xion4ever 13:32, 12 June 2018 (UTC)

Draft links[edit]

So, we now have draft pages for the new KH3 articles. But do we want to link to those on this page and the KH3 template, or keep the red link to the future page. And on the draft pages, should there be links to the other draft pages, or also red links to the future pages? Having the draft links would lower the amount of red links, and direct people to the drafts, but people might see them as the official page, and the reason we're doing the drafts is so we can create pages that aren't official yet. TheSilentHero 16:45, 20 June 2018 (UTC)

We wouldn't need to be discussing this in the first place if we just got rid of the concept of drafts for literally everything on the basis that there's a 0.0001 chance Rapunzel and Elsa will be removed in the game, or perhaps there may be a Heartless removed in a world due to an inaccuracy between a trailer and the final release of the game. I don't know any other wiki that takes this idea to such extremism. No offense, while I appreciate your contribs to the wiki, I still think drafts are a silly idea. This is a fan wiki. Nothing of anything on here is technically official. If you go to KH Wiki and think it's all official and not a group of fans trying to do their best, then you're a lost cause. No one's going to hold anything against us. We're trying to be so hard to be technically correct that it's doing us damage in my opinion. We should get rid of drafts and just use Template:Unreleased everywhere. Also, I don't see a big deal in removing sources when it comes to things that are so blatantly obvious. We literally saw Arendelle in a trailer, do we really need to keep a link to an old interview where Frozen is confirmed? In my opinion, references should be reserved for rarer and hard-to-find information, not for information which should be common sense by now. Soroxas (talk) 18:01, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
"I don't know any other wiki that takes this idea to such extremism." -- TFwiki, one of the highest reputation wikis on the net.
"perhaps there may be a Heartless removed in a world due to an inaccuracy between a trailer and the final release of the game." -- or we get a situation like Taunt, where people suggested we just assume the technique is still in the Final Mix, why would they remove it, and the wiki didn't catch it until I personally got annoyed that I couldn't unlock all the abilities in my pre-FM guide, and figured out what had happened.
"No one's going to hold anything against us." -- This is categorically false. The fandom has criticized the wiki for unsourced/outdated information a crapton.
"it's doing us damage in my opinion." -- What stats are you basing this on?
"We literally saw Arendelle in a trailer" -- as has been explained every single time, there are a crapton of things in trailers that get removed from the final version, including whole worlds. Yes, we're nearing the endgame where stuff is less likely to be removed. We also are not sacrificing any of our reliability by waiting until the actual release of the game.
"not for information which should be common sense by now." -- Removed content. Until we get Kingdom Hearts Final Final Mix which has all of the stuff removed from the first game put back in, this is a fallacious argument."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:55, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
Also, your edits put in a huge amount of speculation that is not "common sense". I can't speak for all readers, but my opinion of a wiki plummets as soon as I start seeing stuff like "strongly implied", "likely to be", etc."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:57, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
An interview already said they don't intend to do a Final Mix. Even then, it doesn't change my opinion about how drafts are unnecessary and just complicate things, and how it's redundant and unnecessary when we can just add a "content may change in final release" warning. As for speculation, you'd need to clarify. I don't think I add a "huge" amount at all, nor are they huge stretches. I don't see a "no speculation of any sort" policy of sorts of a wiki. We already saw what seems to be Riku Replica in a trailer so I don't see the issue with mentioning his existence on the article, nor do I see an issue with mentioning Big Hero 6's world will probably be called San Fransokyo. It's not like we're not claiming it's San Fransokyo as a fact. Soroxas (talk) 19:21, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
"Riku Replica" could be KH1 Riku, through time travel, or someone completely different. Just because it looks like him, doesn't mean it's him (Take Ventus and Roxas for example). And we're supposed to only list facts. If a name hasn't been confirmed, we're not going to say it will probably be this or that. We wait until we have a confirmed name. TheSilentHero 19:27, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
"An interview already said they don't intend to do a Final Mix." -- Birth by Sleep Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts 3D HD both exist, despite Nomura stating explicitly that he had no intention to make them. That was also not the point of that response -- so long as the topics listed in the Removed content article continue to be removed content, then the trailers fundamentally cannot be treated as representing final content.
You are free to have that opinion. It's factually wrong. There is an entire article of reasons why it is not accurate to assume that things shown in trailers are set in stone. Help:Editing explicitly states speculation is forbidden. You may not see issues with making assumptions, but both the wiki's policies and standard editing guidelines (Ex. on wikipedia) understand why it is strictly forbidden.
You are correct that you clearly marked your copious speculation as speculation. That only makes it honest, it does not make it acceptable quality. Kingdom hearts 3 beta[edit]

is kingdom hearts 3 ever going to have a beta stage?

Cubisticmage (talk) 23:36, 15 August 2018 (UTC)

Keyblade Names[edit]

So, I didn't know where else to put this, however - in the KHIII demo we learned that the Kingdom of Corona Keyblade is called Ever After, the Monstropolis Keyblade is called Smile Gear, and the Toy Box Keyblade is called Infinity Badge. As well, it's been public knowledge that Riku's new Keyblade is called Braveheart, as Square lists it as such in merchandising for both a Keyblade Keychain and I believe the Bring Arts Figure of Kingdom Hearts III Riku as well. Furthermore, the Keyblade that we've seen Sora wielding since almost the very beginning of KHIII development (blue with a star theme) is called Shooting Star according to Square Enix's Keyblade Keychains merchandise page: https://store.na.square-enix-games.com/en_US/product/481822/kingdom-hearts-keyblade-keychain-shooting-star (Levi657 (talk) 01:55, 21 October 2018 (UTC))

Videos page in suite[edit]

If no one has an issue, I'd like to move all the videos to its own suite page, like the Gallery. There's literally 19 YouTube videos which need to load everytime someone wants to visit the KH3 article, and we're going to be adding another 2 more vids due to the upcoming trailers. It's going to be a pain in the butt for all the KH3 article editing. I imagine this is the first time the wiki has had to deal with something like this.

I'm getting a lagspike every time I visit the article and I have a decent gaming PC, so I can't imagine what it's like for someone with a low-tier laptop or something. Considering this is going to be the most popular article on the wiki for quite some time, we should be mindful of people with worse specs. Soroxas (talk) 12:41, 5 December 2018 (UTC)

I mean, there's not a lot of point to this article other than the videos, but I think we could work with a Gallery:Kingdom Hearts III/Trailers page."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:36, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
I don't see a problem with moving the trailers to the video-space. Video:Kingdom Hearts III would do it. Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.pngKeybladeSpyMaster Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.png 14:09, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
I prefer something simpler so I'd go with KSM's recommendation, but maybe "Videos" over "Video" because technically, there's going to be multiple videos. Just "Video" makes it sound like there's only going to be one video. Soroxas (talk) 14:27, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
I agree with KSM, since we already have a Video namespace. I don't see the need to change it to videos, since we have other namespaces like Form and Card that are also singular, even though they contain multiple forms and cards on a single page. TheSilentHero 14:58, 5 December 2018 (UTC)

Marvel[edit]

I'm a bit confused with the "no Marvel world" citation -- surely BH6 counts?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:21, 2 January 2019 (UTC)

Yes and no? It's based on a film based on a Marvel comic, but the film itself doesn't carry the Marvel label. The term "Marvel" in the context of Disney seems to refer not to the comics, but the films in the MCU and published under the Marvel Studios name. Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.pngKeybladeSpyMaster Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.png 17:23, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
Actually, from what I heard, Disney Infinity classifies Big Hero 6 as a Disney original instead of Marvel, which means at least the movie doesn't count as a Marvel propriety. Also, apparently there's an X-Men comic from some point in the last three years where a character explicitly says Japan has no superheroes, despite BH6 being based in Japan. Because of that, there's a rumor that Marvel Comics no longer owns Big Hero 6 and Disney actually acquired the rights when making the movie. There's no official confirmation of it though, but there's an interview with someone from Marvel who said they wouldn't be doing a new BH6 comics series anytime soon because Disney would benefit more from it than Marvel themselves. Anime... PAAWAA!!! 15:44, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
I mean...that's definitely bull from that author, then. Here."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:43, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
From what I've read, it seems like Marvel doesn't even own Big Hero Six anymore. The BH6 characters haven't appeared since 2012, two years before the movie came out. That's an even shorter end of the stick than the rival-owned properties. The X-Men managed to get a whole lot of books despite the Disney-Fox rivalry and Disney's goal of boosting the MCU properties. And even when Fantastic Four was cancelled, Human Torch was with the Inhumans and Thing was with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Kitty Pryde was Star-Lord's girlfriend for a while and even became the new Star-Lord. I find it very strange how Marvel Comics writers are free to play with Fox characters but can't even reference the animated movie that was a major hit for their parent company. It's like all the rights to Big Hero Six have been transferred to Disney, even the comic rights! SeanWheeler (talk) 23:59, 28 January 2019 (UTC)

Overreferencing[edit]

Overrferencing is a thing, also called citation overkill.

KH3 is out today. We don't need four references to prove San Fransokyo is in the game, or even a single reference anymore, because the information is readily available now. I'm going to be deleting the obvious unnecessary references. For example, we don't need to prove the game is on Xbox One anymore. After a certain point, a lot of information becomes common sense.

Also, I'm not sure what we're going to do about spoilers. Maybe spoiler warnings and toggles? Or maybe change the font text to white for a while so only willing people will highlight it. Soroxas (talk) 12:23, 29 January 2019 (UTC)

Now that the game is out, we don't need refs for everything, no. For spoilers, you need to place it between {{spoiler}} and {{spoilerend}}. This will allow people to skip past everything between there. TheSilentHero 20:05, 29 January 2019 (UTC)

KH3 Cast List[edit]

Here are my links from Youtube for anyone who wishes to view the cast list for the game. The ones from the Japanese version do have English text so there should be no translation issues.

For the English version: Kingdom Hearts 3 Full Ending Credits Part 3/3 (SPOILERS) (LEAK) (don't worry this just only has the credits so don't worry about spoilers regarding the ending)

For the Japanese version: Kingdom Hearts 3 - Walkthrough - #06 Final Boss & Ending (Full Game) PS4 PRO (Please move the timer directly to 3:10:00 to avoid any spoilers if you wish to avoid getting spoiled.

That is all I have to share but this can be used to help source the cast list for Kingdom Hearts III. Note that as usual for the English version they will not post the cast names next to the Disney characters so other sources may be needed to help confirm them, but this list will help identify they were involved. Lastly characters like Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse, Aeleus, and Dilan do not have any dialogue in this game, while the Foretellers have been listed in the credits, I confirmed they are part of the Epilogue ending. -16:05, 29 January 2019 (UTC)

Also one thing I have yet to accomplish is that while Huey, Dewey, and Louie is stated to have appeared via the end credits, I have yet to discover their location. -Adv193 (talk) 16:31, 29 January 2019 (UTC)

They're in Twilight Town, across from the Moogle. Aeleus grunts."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:47, 29 January 2019 (UTC)

Name of Kairi and Lea's training world[edit]

The Theater Mode and hashtags in the "Kingstagram" loading screens identify this world as the Secret Forest, going by how other worlds are mentioned in the same fashion. Should we create a page for it? Immblueversion (talk) 18:47, 23 February 2019 (UTC)

Sure, but it's not confirmed it's a world or just an area, though."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 23:51, 23 February 2019 (UTC)

Banana Flan glitch[edit]

I find it absurd UnknownChaser doesn't want to mention this glitch on this article when it can literally delete 100 HOURS of play time or more. It exists. I don't see why Square or some news site has to report on it for us to be able to mention it. Read the comments section too:

https://old.reddit.com/r/KingdomHearts/comments/ap89q1/psa_backup_your_save_data_before_trying_the/

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/718920-kingdom-hearts-iii/77470021

There's also someone here who got hit by save corruption (didn't explain a reason):

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/718920-kingdom-hearts-iii/77455250

I want to re-add it to the article. By not giving it awareness, we're just making it worse for the players who don't know of this glitch, and it will also make Square less aware of it, and ultimately hurt the chances of getting a patch. Being overly pedantic about this horrible save-corrupting glitch by saying "well, Square hasn't acknowledged it" is silly when it totally does exist. Soroxas (talk) 15:39, 14 March 2019 (UTC)

Since no one has replied, I'm adding it back. Soroxas (talk) 05:45, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
I believe that the bug should be mentioned, identically to on the 2.5 remix page. However, our precedent is to use actual videos of the crash."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:08, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
The part about the glitch was removed because there was no source, not because UnknownChaser didn't want to mention it, and making up reasons why other people do things is not very nice. Also, instead of reacting with "I find it absurd" and "Being overly pedantic about this (...) is silly when it totally does exist", you could have just provided a source. I believe this is something of a recurring issue, but if people revert you or remove something you added, it's not a personal attack on you, they're just following the MoS. As for an official source, I don't think Square Enix would really announce bugs, but a video is way more trustworthy than some random Reddit comments. TheSilentHero 15:27, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
I'm not "making up" anything. Their edit summary was "And there is no official source on this bug" so they removed it. It makes it seem as if there's no source decent enough, even if there's plenty of people from GameFAQs and Reddit confirming it exists. When I said "doesn't want to mention this glitch", I meant with the "without an official source". So are you saying I can't add it back, even if I cite GameFAQs and Reddit? Soroxas (talk) 17:57, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
Why not just ask Unknown Chaser what they meant? I'm not seeing any indication they were even aware of the Reddit/gamefaqs discussion -- instead, it looks like they were removing a passage that had been left uncited.
I'm not sure there's a specific policy on what kind of sources would be required, but on the other pages that discuss such bugs, we've required photo or video evidence, just like a standard bug report would."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:22, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
Can't we make exceptions based on quantity of reports and severity of the glitch? I mean, I could try to record a video of it. I don't mind my save being wiped because Critical Mode is supposedly going to be patched in anyway, and I plan to restart over with that anyway. Soroxas (talk) 19:31, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
On second thought, they might do that "Critical Mode must be unlocked by beating the game" BS, so I'm going to keep my cleared save file for now. This will have to be put on hold for now. Soroxas (talk) 18:47, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
That being said, I'd be okay with putting it up with citation needed, and then in comments listing the non-final cites listed above."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:21, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
Alright, nice. If TheSilentHero agrees, then we should do that. Soroxas (talk) 20:23, 20 March 2019 (UTC)

It's unlikely that we will be getting an official bug report from SE, so yes, the next best thing is generally to get some sort of evidence other than "they said it happens". I think we all have enough experience with the internet to know that just because a lot of people say something is true doesn't make it true. Video evidence will be best. Of course, this will be tricky to get, since it happens at random, but if we get it, then that should be enough. I wonder if any of this was patched with the Day 1 patch... If it's a known issue, it may be patched whenever they push the Critical Mode DLC. Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.pngKeybladeSpyMaster Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.png 21:18, 20 March 2019 (UTC)

Sora Confused about Vanitas's face[edit]

When Sora first saw Vanitas, it was in Dream Drop Distance; unmasked to top it off. Did he think Vanitas was simply some kind of dark illusion created by Xehanort to unnerve him at the time? If not, did Sora forget due to the trauma of nearly having his heart destroyed do it? (96.68.6.221 22:29, 20 March 2019 (UTC))

He specifically mentions it at Monstropolis."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 12:37, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

Renders[edit]

If you need, my wiki have almost all the official renders, just some enemies and bosses are missing, I just ask if possible, to add credits to my wiki (just like you done some time ago with Absent Sillhouettes renders)--93.150.192.145 08:15, 9 April 2019 (UTC)

You can always go ahead and upload any renders you have, if you feel they're better than whatever renders are currently on site. And of course, you can always credit your wiki if you do upload those images; we're staunch advocates of crediting those who make having the images at all possible. Gummi Ship[edit]

Should there mention of the "open world" gummi ship be given some more detail? Such as how it combines to open map aspect of KH2 with the choose of route from KH1, proving a balanced exploration of both?(96.68.6.221 21:59, 1 August 2019 (UTC))
